Solid performence, Wow cant wait to be in the crowd when they play W&K!!!
They just need to talk alittle more with the people at the concert, then this is fucking wild!

Oh and Chester nailed the high notes in Given Up! but his scream actually sounds different? and he has shortened quet down? Not really because it meens that much, but he used to scream more in Papercut, and the Given up scream wasn't that long.

Do you think that was what he was talking about in that interview about screaming?
    Either way, he's still amazing

Ana, you're a valued member here at LPA, but the no spamming rule applies to everyone so please stop promoting your site here. The staff have talked to you about this before, and although you've helped us out in the past on a few things, we can't give you any special treatment - it's simply not fair to other members. Any more promotion of your site on LPA will lead to a warning and possibly an infraction.

The staff and I hope you can appreciate our stance. :)

Chester is not screaming as much as he used to, as much as I hate to say this because it breaks my heart, I don't think he's going to be doing a lot of it anymore. Blackout needs to be on that set list and they need to add some more older stuff. I would love it if they had a different set list every show that just includes random surprise songs, especially songs like high voltage, by myself, place for my head etc

The majority of A Thousand Suns is way better live than Minutes to Midnight was when they debuted it. Leave Out All the Rest, Shadow of the Day, In Pieces, and even What I've Done were pitifully bad when they first started playing them (2 of those songs never got any better either. Hint - it's the 2 they're no longer playing). Hands Held High was so bad live that the band has openly stated they pulled the plug on attempting to perform it. And even the "good" live tracks from that album (No More Sorrow, TLTGYA, Valentine's Day) still paled in comparison to their studio counterparts. The only track from MTM that's arguably better live is Bleed it Out.

On the flip side, they're already playing 12 out of 15 tracks from ATS live, and I only hear 2 that are sketchy - Wretches and Kings because Chester always screws up the sampled pad parts in the verses, and The Messenger because they have to detune it into snore-worthy territory just to keep Chester from coughing up a lung attempting to sing it.

If I were LP, I would play about 3 hrs (like Green Day) especially for argentinia, chile and Brazil...these guys waited for SO long, they annoyed us SO much...(I mean sure these were all festivals but they could have atleast played a bit more)

Anyway I really hope for rotating setlists + The messenger being replaced by the Little things, SOTD being replaced by LOATR, and maybe some older songs Ive only seen once live.. /nevergonnahappen

    Good analysis!

I think they'll get far better when they hit the states and it may not be till then that we'll be talking about an upcoming live show dvd. Hopefully the same happens with the "talk to crowd" thing...

Bleed it Out is a much better song to close out with than What I've Done. I love both songs but they should be closing out with Faint. Why aren't they even performing it anymore?

Because they can't feel the way they did before.

But don't turn your back on them. They won't be ignored.

Faint is being performed in fact, take a look at the setlist of the Buenos Aires show here: http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32322&p=998563&viewfull=1#post998563.

In the other hand i agree that Bleed It Out is better to close as well as Faint or One Step Closer.

I wanted Mike to go "Ladies and gentlemen...Mr. Hahn!!!" before the scratching part in WnK. That would've been so dope!

I like how Chester's screaming sounds in these... but conversely it's probably not one of his better performances when it comes to his singing.
