Let's pretend that it's realistic that another Fort Minor and Dead By Sunrise record can happen. Now, if you had to choose between a new Fort Minor AND Dead By Sunrise CD getting released in the upcoming years (both released within a month or so from each other) or ONE new Linkin Park record, which would you chose? And let's say that this hypothetical LP album has the band going in whichever direction you want them to go in. So essentially, your voting for either twice the songs via side projects, or another normal batch of LP songs. My vote goes to the band making another record together, but not by much. Twice the music would be nice and I would be especially eager to hear another FM record. But DBS I wouldn't care as much for (unless if all the songs grew off Crawl Back In).
I'd say a new Linkin Park record too. I liked the side project alot but I like the direction LP is in.
It would be incredible to hear a new LP record, I would pre-order that album quick! It's just I haven't heard some new Fort Minor or Dead by Sunrise songs recently (and I know DBS's record came out last year, it's just I want a little bit more of them cause they didn't make as much songs as Fort Minor). I have a taste of "rock", I have a taste of "rap", and I have a taste for "Linkin Park". I love LP, they are the #1 band for me, it's just I would really love to hear an album from each side project first before a new LP record would come out (so I can save the best for last....)
Eh, I'd rather see more side-project stuff, to be honest. I'd want to see Mike do something more with Fort Minor and Chester advance DBS a bit more.
I would rather see the two side projects. Look at Mike on A Thousand Suns. Did you see those heavy beats and nasty verses he came up with? Imagine more of that, and even some singing in choruses or full songs. He could pull off a legendary record. Chester didn't impress me with Dead By Sunrise, so I would love for him to try it again. With lyrics like the ones from The Messenger, I could imagine him writing better this time around.
The only thing I would want new Fort Minor stuff for is guest appearances. 'Cause, at this point, I feel Shinoda should continue channeling all the awesomeness he can come up with into Linkin Park stuff like he did on "A Thousand Suns".
Another LP album. DBS and FM, let's say, put something out in late 2011 or early 2012, followed by some (yes, some) touring..maybe alone in the US. Now LP would need atleast 1 year (or maybe 2, or who knows...) to come up with an ATS killer. 2014? No, I fuckin' can't wait that long! Plus, if they really want to do anything with them, I would feel like they wasted their energy and creative scope on DBS and FM..leaving slightly less for Linkin Park XD
easily another LP album, i loved ATS and i love their direction, maybe a little more meteora? but yeah sorry fort minor and DBS, another group album would be much more amazing and loved =D
I want a new LP album too ... but not now .. they should take up time and make a good album in the next few years ... I really like DBS and Fort Minor, but there's not this feeling when I hear to it ... this amazing LP-feeling <3 ... can't expain -.-
