... Waiting for the End has gained so many fans? I see so many comments on youtube saying they've never liked LP until this song.
And everywhere else too. I showed my friend the song, and he's in love with it. And he used to think Linkin Park was garbage.

"Waiting For The End" happens to be one of LP's all-time classics now...and it's not even a year old yet. You're not alone man, WFTE is my most-played song on my iPod. XD

I was more surprised it wasn't more of a hit, truth be told. It seemed like one of those LP radio classics like in The End. I'm glad it's making people appreciate them though.

I still think Mike under-delivered on this song with the rap part, unlike with In The End where his parts were the highlight of the song. So yeah, maybe that's the reason it didn't because such a huge hit.

This song got good exposure on the MTV EMA Awards too so that might be a reason why it's popular. Also it's probably the most mainstream song from ATS. I think it's a great song with a beautiful video and it deserves to be given a chance by non-LP fans.

It wasn't a hit because the radios fucked up and didn't even play it. I'm pretty sure my pop station here hasn't played it once. But yeah, everyone who I've seen listen to this song falls in love with it. And no kidding, it's an amazing song. I'm still hoping LP can land a Saturday Night Live spot before they tour the US to help expose the song to a large audience.

Although I can't speak for Europe . The EMA's aren't that big in the US, obviously.

Waiting For The End definitely has the potential to be another In The End, if it gets more airplay. It has a very strong message to it, and is probably the most mainstream song on the album.

It just needs to be requested more on radio stations. I see no reason why this song can't be #1.

Agreed. It's on at least 2 or 3 times a day so it's quite popular.

I don't listen to radio, so I wouldn't really know if it is played or not. I do know that our radio station has a great respect for Chester though.

i do admit '' waitin for the end '' is extremely cool

I dont even know what genre it is. It's one of those songs that are extremly artistic AND radio friendly at the same time.

Does it really matter what genre it's in if it's good music? Just wondering since everyone has a hard time classifying these songs.

    Well, some people said this:
    -I love music
    -I wanna be cool
    -I choose rock/metal/blah blah
-People will know that I listen to cool music
    -I heard a pop song
-Nice beat, great lyric, awesome melodies, outstanding vocal........I like it....
    -But I like rock/metal/blah blah
    -Pop is not cool
-So I don't like that song
    -Therefore, I'm still cool

^: Well, these people need to get a life.
