Linkin Parks Waiting For The End made its way to the top of the alternativ charts. It is now the 10th number one hit of the band and the second of ATS. Also ATS it is more successfull than Minutes To Midgnight, due to the fact that it had only one number one hit on the alternativ charts. (What I've Done) I'm really excited about the next single. Christ that took long enough. I don't recall one of their singles ever taking close to 4 months to top a chart.
i know...i had lost hope on WFTE getting anywhere since it seemed to have just dropped out of everything. but i guess i was wrong and it just slowly kicked butt on Alt. Charts. And I believe LP easily will gain #1 after all singles are out from ATS. The only reason why LP isn't constantly #1 on charts is because of the lack of albums. Because once they have a new album out, multiple singles will hit number 1 and regain their top spot
Ya, only 4 albums out and they've become one of the biggest bands in the world! 10 years ago they topped the chart In The End, and now 10 years after they got that same spot by Waiting For The End.
True. LP has actually become less mainstream musically. However they're getting more popular everyday. Maybe LP can save us from the crappy mainstream hip hop and pop music today > (not that pop and hip hop is bad... they're one of my favorite genres. Its just that they have gone downhill in recent years).
Yes. You're right with that. I just ment more successfull on the alternativ charts. In all other points MtM clearly is more successfull than ATS.
Because MTM was at the time when most of LP fans were expecting for another HT, they bought it immediately without knowing what was inside the cd.
The result from that was QWERTY. I mean really, they went to Japan for their first show in like two years and Mike said 'this is a new song' and before you know it Chester's supplying you with a ton of eargasms. Then two days later we all found out it was written as they were flying to Japan and had nothing to do with MTM. HURRR-ayyyyy-ayyy...dammit. ¬.¬ --RS
