    I'm not quite sure if this is my laptop or the file but it says I need a password to extract the application. It's probably my laptop :/

    this is a late-ish reply, but there were two points there. he lifts like 1cm off the ground, it looks weird.
    i've used game maker to make a game like this, and when he shot my guy lifted off the platform too. it can be fixed...

    also, not the biggest fan of the controls, but this is an awesome game. love it.

    It was a design choice to have him lift off the ground when he shoots. As if the force of his fire were so awesome that if LPAMAN had been wearing sneakers he'd probably fly out of them. :awesome:

    We definitely encourage anyone to post walkthroughs in the forum Keaton linked, as well as fun tricks and easter eggs they come across. :)

    Very gracious post! Thank you!

    And sadly I'm not sure if there is a way to port it to gameboy. We're stunned you beat it already! You might be the first to have done so!

    For those who are having trouble with the sticky keys situation with the shift button, I figured out that you can use X to jump, and C to fire your weapon as well.

    Holy crap. I totally forgot I put alternate controls in the game. LMFAO.

    Alternate controls:
    Z = Run
    X = Jump
    C = Shoot

    OR...

    1 = Run
    2 = Jump
    3 = Shoot

    Thanks Jay for the reminder. :lol:

    As an aspiring game programmer, this is the type of thing that always inspires me. Overall gameplay is great, very easy to pick up and always mixing things up and always slightly challenging, 4/5 stars. Music is amazing as well, 4/5 stars. The only thing I find slightly irritating with this game is the controls, especially with jumping and moving at the same time, which can get a little clunky at times. However, many 8-bit games have issues like this, so it's not a big disappointment. That's the only rough edge that I think can be smoothed over, but apart from that, 4/5 stars. Great job as always Keaton!
