Linkin Park was simply amazing live. I really disliked Does it offend you yeah? though. My two friends hated it so much. I felt pendulum needed to play more, even though they are one of the 2 opening bands. They were amazing. I'm probably biased since they're my 2nd favorite artist. They played great. I loved Linkin Park. This was my first concert, and the experience was amazing. I loved the crowd, band, the setlist, the lights and the visuals. The best day of my life. MY YOUTH IS COMPLETE!
Chester apologized for not giving us his highest energy show and all I can think is 'that wasn't high energy!?" That show was so incredible, it's hard to define with words. I was waiting since 3 so I got into almost arms length distance with the band, it was crazy. Best show of my life, they played everything I could've ever wanted. Pendulum know how to put on a damn good show too.
Show was SICK! 3rd time seeing them. I loved the APFMH bridge during Bleed It Out. Anyone else notice Chester havign a problem hitting the right notes during New Divide? Pendulum really wasn't all that great. Although I like their music, not live. Opposite for DIOYY?. Their studio stuff is boring but live they really get you pumped.
Yeah, he seemed to be fiddling with his in-ear monitors during the first chorus. I noticed he also accidentally sang the second verse of The Catalyst on top of the gang vocals in the intro. Nonetheless - epic show! Last night was the 3rd time for me too! Ironically, it was also the first time I saw them live locally 1. Feb. 2008 - London, ON 2. June 2008 - Projekt Revolution UK 3. Feb. 2011 - Toronto, ON I missed DIOYY but caught Pendulum's show, they rocked it but I also hoped they played a bit more. Second time seeing them live, second time pleased Considering the fact they're doing their own World Tour at the same time as opening for LP is amazing imo. Wish I was able to see them at the Guvernment last Wednesday for the full show. http://www.pendulum.com/live.htm
Yeah, lol. When I read that on twitter, I was like "what the hell, Chester was sick? lol". I honestly had no idea he was sick because that energy was pretty damn high
I had such an amazing time last night. Met the guys for the third time at the meet and greet and Chester dedicated Irridescent to me. "This is for Chelsey", heard here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_JkH1-8k1k So amazing.
Nope I was their first make a wish kid back in 2004 and wrote them all letters thanking them for that amazing day. I talked to them a little at the meet and greet and then had them put my flag on stage (it was on the front left) and then Chester just said 'this is for chelsey' and I died in that moment. lol
If you don't mind me asking, since MAW is for kids with cancer/life threatening medical issues...how is your health? Are you recovering?
I'm great, thanks! I had leukemia almost 8 years ago now. I was 17 when diagnosed so just under the cut off for make a wish. And meeting LP was my wish.
They're really great people. Meeting them really reinforced that for me. I'm glad you've gotten a chance to meet them and have lived so long against the odds. Stay healthy!
