I think he was probably getting sick like he always does but the extreme cold in Toronto probably contributed to it too. It was something like -19 degrees Celsius with windchill.

Oh Canada was nice to LP. A week before it was somewhere around -40C with windchill. :p

To all the people that bought tickets on craigslist or eBay, that totally sucks and I feel for you. But now you know better than to purchase LP tickets anywhere but ticketbastard or through linkinpark.com. My show got cancelled (due to Chester being sick, what else?) back in 2004 and I had luckily got them through LPU pre-sale, so I know firsthand that LP cancels shows. Of all the other bands I've seen, I don't think any shows have been cancelled quite as often as LP's ones do haha.

Hopefully they don't have to cancel the 2/19 show in Las Vegas, as I've already paid for hella expensive hotel room for my gf and I...

    Well

Well yeah I will live but its still pure shitttty. You can not get a Linkin Park A thousand suns tour back. You act like we can just see it in some other freaking time zone or state. Once its gone, its gone. Now if they reschedule at the end of the tour, which they really better do, then we will all be good. Were talking 40,000 very upset fans. Getting sick happens, it sucks, Wish Chester the best, but they need to make up for it big time. We look forward to this for months and BAM, its real depressing. Chester has got to be pretty sick to cancel this show and tommorrows show, hopefully they will make good and redo it this year. Not like they tour every 6 months or anything.

Just remember, Chester needs his voice in one tune. And he's such a tiny little thing, so we have to get gentle with him and take care of his health!

I'm sure Chester feels worse than any of you guys seeing as he's the one who's really sick and feeling responsible for all the disappointed people you know. Just saying...

    Poor Chester...:(

40,000 upset fans is slightly exaggerating but I'll give it to you anyway. Save up money and go to another show I guess :(

Damn Mike put Cincy in his blog post title instead of Uncasville and really scared me. I said WTF. I am going to Cincy on Saturday from Atlanta...I hope they don't pull a 10:45pm cancellation of the show the night before when I'm having dinner in downtown Cincinnati :(

    Yeayuh!:awesome:

Anyways, don't worry everybody. I was headed to a show that got cancelled in 2004, and they came back at the end of the tour to play the show (this was the LA show in 2004, supposed to play in February and got postponed until March 15th I believe.)

But then again, this says cancelled and people are getting their refunds... which we didn't do, we just used the same ticket as the original date.

I'm sure they'll make up the date though, seeing as how I don't think they had many New England/Upper East Coast shows this tour.

TO Vdalem: As a poor college student, I can see how upset I'd be if I had pretty much wasted upwards of 80 dollars per ticket, especially if it was a gift or surprise for the other person. It's just a terrible, terrible situation to be in. Chester really needs to get sick during European/International tours, since he only seems to get sick during the US legs hahaha.
