Did anyone else catch the Silva-Belfort staredown? Intense. I haven't been this excited for a UFC card in a while.
Anyone tuning into Strikeforce tonight? Fedor vs Bigfoot Heavyweight Tournament. Should be an alright night in.
I'm not ashamed to say I marked out pretty bad for that last night. I felt like a fanboy again. Best thing to happen to Raw & WWE in years.
Not alone, Joe. I literally marked out like a little 4/5-year-old boy again and even teared up. The Rock got me into wrestling in the first place, so it was amazing to have him sparking up my fandom again. Something I kinda did with Miz, but Rocky just does it better. He's my idol next to LP.
Figures my TV would stop working the night The Rock returns. I caught it on youtube though and I've gotta say it gave me chills. The Rock played such a big role in my childhood when I used to be infactuated with Wrestling, so it was awesome to see him back.
too bad he's never going to deliver on these Cena remarks, atleast not match wise. interviews and angles are cool, but it just doesn't quite compare to an actual match between the two. I hate Cena, but he fucking brings it on PPV matches, and it's the fucking Rock. One million buys on any PPV, and millions and millions of dollars to be made there.
Yeah, will be interesting to see what extent this goes. There's always hope for a match between them, as unlikely as it probably is. Wrestle Mania's buy rates probably tripled thanks to last night at least.
Frankly, outside of the three main fights, UFC 127 looks like doodoo. Condit-Lytle getting scrapped was a huge blow to this card. You never know, though. A lot of cards that look unimpressive on paper end up being really fun. We'll see.
I'm going for Penn, Sotiropoulos, and Lytle. Don't much care for any of the other fights. Also: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VMKVk.jpg[/thumb]
lol nice minus. Yeah on paper most of the card looks like shit, but you really never know, some cards look fucking amazing and up boring. I hope BJ Fitch fight does not go to decision, with a BJ KO or sub.
BJ actually mixing things up by going for some takedowns and using his BJJ? Why the hell didn't he do that against Edgar?
Bisping was lucky Rivera didn't pull out after that illegal knee. Also..Hunt vs. Tuchscherer was a hoot.
fucking MARK HUNT won a match. MARK FUCKING HUNT. that's totally BJ Penn in 10 years and after a stint in rehab for being a complete tool.
