It's about as good as the original movie. I think I'd rather watch the original just because it's less Hollywood and seems more rugged. Both really good, though.

I haven't seen that one, but Let The Right One In is so good.

    This.

It's one of the few Hollywood remakes of a foreign horror film that isn't complete garbage.

Did they keep the pool scene in the remake?

It was ok but nothing really "zomgz" about lol. You might think differently though. And yes, Agent O, that scene is in the remake. :)

I shall be sure to check it out :)

    Pokemon: Zoroark: Master of Illusions
6/10 on the Pokemon movie scale - it tried to have as much heart as the Lucario and Darkrai movies, but failed. The little Zorua got annoying, too - I'm tired of the leading Pokemon in these movies being able to talk and that is the only way the story can be driven forward. I wanna hear what fucking Pikachu has to say, not this little "brat" Pokemon!

    Let Me In - 4/5
Loved it. When I watched the original, like way back, I didn't completely get a grasp on the film. But after watching this I definitely appreciate the original one a lot more. This remake completely captured the essence of the original one and even added its own subtle touches to the premise. I liked the vamp girl in the original one better... Chloe Moretz came across as a little too cutesy at times. Also, the two iconic scenes, the pool and the bridge scenes, were done a lot better in the original. Still, it doesn't take anything major away from the remake. It was a great watch!

Capturing the Friedmans (Documentary) - 5/5
The bone-chilling story of a child molestation case revolving around a small town family in the 80s. This film left me feeling drained. Just a remarkable look at the human psyche and how twisted and fucked up it can be. Amazing film!

    School of Rock- 2.5/5
Rewatched this after a long time and still enjoyed it. Kind of. I know it's a PG feel-good comedy, but some parts just felt extremely feel goody. Maybe I'm just getting old haha.

I watched The Town yesterday. Really, really good. Finally something overtook Scott Pilgrim as my personal favourite from last year.

    American Psycho - 8/10

It's the first time I've watched it and knew nothing about it. I just assumed it was a horror, but it wasn't really at all. It's a look into a guy's life as he falls off the deep end. Christian Bale just owns the shit out of the role. The dialogue is brilliant at times.

    I watched a bunch yesterday.

    Me, Myself and Irene 7/10

    Rampage 9/10

    Queen of the Damned 8/10
The guy who played Lestat was rather Edward Cullen looking and I love the OST to it (mainly Disturbed and Kidney Thieves).

    Nanny McPhee 6/10
It was good for what it was. A children's comedy with some "adult" themes that gave me a few good laughs. A lot of the movie was particularly corny though, and I don't plan on seeing it again anytime soon.

    Black Swan - 8/10

It was interesting and blurred reality keeping you hooked plus hot scenes with hot women. I wouldn't watch it again though.

    Inception - 9.5/10

HOLY SHIT WHAT A MIND FUCK OF A MOVIE!

I was both confused and understanding throughout the entire film, and I loved it oh so much. After this movie I'll definitely give Leonardo DiCaprio more of a chance in future films, seeing as I don't really like a whole lot that he puts out. The movie was casted beautifully, and the movie had stunning effects that left me in awe.

You just saw that now? Better late than never I guess haha.

    Resident Evil Afterlife - 5/10

About 4 points come just from hot women and fighting zombies. The storyline was all over the place, even compared to the past movies, and there were a lot of things that brought the movie down. Looked cool, though. Too bad they couldn't have spent a couple hours on the script.

    The Town - 7/10

Good movie. Good acting. A little overdone storyline, but well written. Just an overall good movie.

    Alpha & Omega:

    6/10
It was a fairly well plot, but the animation/anatomy was shit. Coming from a wolf/dog artist myself.

    Legend of the Guardians:

    8.5/10
I read the book series, and the animation was pretty well. But they missed out on A LOT of parts from the books. That pissed me off.
