I always want to make mashups but I don't know how to get acapella's of songs.

 

I'm looking forward to hearing this finished. Just stumbled in here to find this and I am impressed. I haven't made a mix in quite some time and I think you've inspired me to open up my mind again.

 

Love it. You just mixed my favorite band and my idol (as you can see my signature is actually a picture of MJ with his middle finger XD)
I would make the two songs stay in the same key though. I would lower down Michael's part (Jackson, not Shinoda) by a semitone.

Hey there, your remix seems to have a looong intro, and I find it a bit hard to find the focus through the mid-way of the song
The sounds are cool though, what software did you use for the remix? I used FL Studio for mine (do check it out, it's a short one)

 

I used FL studio too It's more of an experimental piece really but I do like the intro, could you link me to yours?

nice I like the way you paced the vocals differently, was the violin from a plugin?

 

It's a soundfont I found on the web and it's called 5-strings
the cello is called BHCello and it has a really good sound
