I just checked the Billboard charts. Waiting for the end is 17 weeks in top 5 of the alternativ charts now. That is the second longest time in there of all their songs. (right after numb - 19 weeks) It wasn't long at the top position (4 weeks), but that doesn't matter. It also reached no. 2 in the rock charts. Maybe it'll reach the top spot of the rock charts next week and maybe it'll get back to no. 1 in the alternativ charts, too. Source: Billboard.com
Same here Another thing, are shops in the UK against Linkin Park? I walked in two HMV stores and other CD stores week after week since the release and I couldn't find it at all, and when it eventually was put on the shop floor it was all the way at the back of store, Take That, Rihanna, Kings Of Leon all at the front and ATS nowhere to be found I am starting to think that some places might be trying to damage the sales of it near me.
I've had this happen to me a number of times, especially when Season 5 of Supernatural was released, Target had it but Sanity didn't. It's technically not the store's fault it's the supplier's fault.
Waiting For The End is a grower, the more you listen the more you'd like it. I'm glad it charted well.
You be my partner who is a tiler and the only source of entertainment whilst grouting etc. is the radio.
I'm having a personal struggle at the moment whether my favorite song of all time is The Catalyst or Waiting for the End. It's now almost impossible to chose. I wish it was overplayed on my radio, haha.
Good thing I don't listen to radio anymore That way I never have to worry about something being overplayed on the radio.
I find it great that it's being overplayed on MY radio I have caught most of my friends and basically almost EVERYONE I know singing the chorus or posting on Facebook a status praising WFTE.
