The album has a name and a tracklisting now. 'Wasting Light' is the album's name!!! http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news...ighters_reveal_new_albums_name_tracklist.html
I say this with complete respect for others who enjoy this song But in my opinion...this is a piece of shit. I would play Justin Bieber before ever listening to that song again But the video was great...as long as it's on mute haha.
Don't know if it's been posted, but here's the first single:
High expectations for this album. Both songs released thus far (in addition to the youtube videos of live performances of other songs) are amazing, and really recall a mix of TCV, Probot, and The Colour And The Shape-era Foo Fighters. The reintroduction of Pat Smear and appearances from Krist Novoselic has me amped. In case you hadn't heard it, here's a live recording of Bridge Burning:
I'm looking forward to it a lot more than I ever thought I would be, but for me their most recent work is so ordinary that there's probably going to be a nagging feeling that I'll just end up disappointed until I actually hear the whole album. Dave Grohl is in the new Muppets film. THAT I have high expectations for haha.
The Foo Fighters just released a trailer for an upcoming documentary And if you guys haven't seen the album cover art yet [thumb]http://themancavedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Foo_Fighters_Wasting_Light_Album_Cover-1024x1024.jpg[/thumb]
Just got back from the White Limo Promo Tour. I got to sit in the limo from the video and listen to the album and full. And I have to say that this album is as good as The Colour And The Shape. For sure.
As far as I remember I haven't listened to a single song from this album yet. I want to be surprised. I just hope it's good.
I still believe, having listened to it in full, that it's gonna surprise a lot of people. It's already better than In Your Honor and ESPG, and on par with their 90s material.
My expectations were exceeded after hearing White Limo and Rope, which in my opinion, flat out murder anything on In Your Honor and Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace.
