You with the logical reasoning, stop replying to the post with nonsensical whimsicality.

None of you are understanding what I'm saying. I've taken advanced theory, history, harmony and counterpoint courses and I have a level 10 diploma with the Royal Conservatory of Music... I know what the fuck harmonizing is...

Yes relative pitching is important but the relative pitching still has to be on key (which is what I meant by singing in the correct pitch). Okay say you're harmonizing in 3rds or harmonizing in 4ths, but the second vocalist doesn't sing a perfect 3rd relative to the note he/she is harmonizing with... that's what I mean. If those frequencies don't match, it sounds like shit.

Stop with the incessant posts of whether you're being sarcastic or not.

It's really up to the listener to decide if something does or does not sound like shit.

Also as far as I am aware shit does not make a sound, unless you're talking about the sound it makes when hitting water.

This thread is really going into the wrong direction with what I had intended it to. It was meant for just people to say how they wanted Robot Boy to be performed live and how they might manage that in a interesting sense. Not start talking about whether or not Linkin Park will or will not do it. Or even Mike's singing skills.

Since when in the history of threads has the discussion talked about the exact same thing throughout?.

And I think talking about Mike's singing voice actually does make sense since whether you like his voice or not would influence your opinion for the matter

yeah but this seems to be getting a little too frivolous. I originally thought talking about how they'd be creative in pulling it off would be more fun. Oh well..guess that didn't work out. haha

There's not many options to chose from, haha. Either Chester and Mike sing a stripped down or they sing with the rest of the vocal tracks being played. Or maybe they would do a group vocal thing.

i wouldn't doubt Linkin Park. They've been very creative in the past adding intros, outros, extra parts or even changing the entire song. I love that stuff too when it doesn't change the song too much and fits well.

Do you want a medal? :derek:

If Britney Spears and Lady Gaga can come up with more synthesised songs than Robot Boy I think it's not near impossible to try and do the song live. Of course, the risk of being booed off stage for such a bad attempt is always there.

I don't understand why anyone would want to pull boy robots. Don't they have electric legs/wheels?

All I am gonna say is that it's really just too bad that I did not get to hear the song live during this touring cycle.

    Oh, yes, they do.

Or, well, I can assume that, since they do use backing tracks, they have no qualms about it. ;"
