Finished it aages ago and I've caught every Pokémon possible. now I'm just destroying my friend every time he faces me.
On the 8th gym badge right now. Dragon type pokemon are such pains. I cant wait to beat the game so I can trade from heart gold and hit up online
I was. I have a crap computer with Vista that doesn't have any 3D driver for my video card. It supports 3D just not with vista.. haha
You can use the keyboard or a gamepad for emulators... I don't really understand your complaint for buttons. Everything you play that isn't motion controlled has buttons. Anyway to answer the other persons question about which emulators there are Desemue - DS Game Emulator - It plays most DS games IDeaS - DS Game Emulator - Plays a fair amount of games No$GBA 2.6 - Plays a fair amount of DS games but also plays games at almost 100% speed. So try the first and the last, and if those fail try the 2nd one.
I used to be obsessed Pokemon up until about the 3rd generation (which was Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald). I never played Diamond or Pearl and I have no desire to play Black or White. I just looked up all the Pokemon from the 4th and 5th generations and I don't really like them, the 5th definitely is the worst though. You only have so many ideas... I think the 1st generation was obviously the best.
Oh rose colored glasses, you help me forget about magnimite, eggexcute, Mr Mime, and Jynx. Imo, they bottomed out on the 3rd gen (Nosepass, seriously?) and got a little better with 4th an 5th. I spent the dough I was gonna buy this game with and donated it to Japan. I've wanted this game (and Portal 2)... sadly.
I finished Fire Red the other day. I beat the game with a level 60 Dragonite and level 50 of the following: Kadabra, Gyrados, Nidoking, Charizard, and Snorlax. Probably the best lineup you can make in 1st generation. Obviously Alakazam would be better, but I can't evolve to get him. And Mewtwo would take his place, but you can't get him until you beat the game already.
I beat the game over spring break, haven't had time to play it since then. The ending is the BEST out of any of the Pokemon games, the storyline is far better than any so far. There are also lots of cool opportunities after you beat it, like a guy who gives you a new fossil (claw fossil, old amber!) everyday. I also traded over my HeartGold mons, so I'm pretty happy now!
