Wow this spiraled out of control into a huge shitstorm. Maybe if we used some magnets, they can help the thread get organized by attracting the opposing materials to their proper poles...
Which is why I'm making it a point to not defend it anymore. I still like it, but we can have differing opinions and I'll be okay with that...
The only thing I have to say is that this is probably the best song I've heard from Hollywood Undead. Not that the song is particularly groundbreaking in any way whatsoever.
Maybe they instantly replied without looking at what everyone else was talking about. None-the-less, I don't think they should have been ridiculed for posting an on topic reply despite the fact the thread is grossly off topic at this point.
Who's to say that they weren't ignorant to the fact that the thread took a turn? Dedicated was trying to add to the conversation of what should have been discussed in this thread, not some off topic talk about how mystical and majestic, not to mention dangerous magnets are. I'm just trying to throw it out there that you can't fault a user for making an on topic remark, despite if the thread has turned into off topic jargon.
The thing that got me about Hollywood Undead was the fact that their first single "Undead" had a loop in there that sounded eerily like "Papercut."
I just kinda put them in the same bucket as Limp Bizkit. Still clinging to those nu-metal roots. Unfortunately for them, all the relevant bands of that era seem to have put that specific sound aside.
They're more on the hardcore side though, like A Day to Remember/Funeral for a Friend than metal. They came from that generation of bands anyway. I think that's why they stick out more, because they're identified as more hardcore. There new album though, as I said I dont think contains any screaming soooo :/
