Doesn't mean doo-doo. Those promo stickers have been wrong in the past lol. This pretty much confirms it though.

Damn, really wanted a more energetic single than this. Not complaining, as I love Iridescent and think it makes an excellent single, but most of the singles from ATS have been kinda slow

Does anyone feel that the videos the band has been putting out have been sub par... And before I get hate replies, what I'm saying is "Numb" had a story, their was a story line, characters, the band was a part of the experience, the video made sense... "Crawling" same thing. Even "Faint" had a story, an exciting feel, "What I've Done", not a story line per say, but definitly a video jam packed of clips, band footage... I guess what I'm saying is I hope with "Iridescent" the band does have a story, impressive imagery, (hopefully not slow motion the whole video), it makes sense, it has a purpose...thats all

Im kinda disapointed with the singles of ATS. I think either When They Come for Me or Blackout should be the next single. I also thought Burning in the Skies was kinda weird to put out as a single.

Can't tell if serious...

Burning In The Skies - The moment before a nuclear explosion
Waiting For The End - The moment OF the explosion, also known as WAITING FOR THE END.
The Catalyst - The aftermath of the explosion.

These three music videos have more story than all the past Linkin Park videos put together.

I'm talking about how the videos are filmed. Thats great that Burning in the Skies, Waiting for the End, and TC had a underlying storyline but how it was shot could have been better. BITS is a slow motion video in every extent, I think "the moment before a nuclear explosion" video could have been more epic, I mean the amount of what the video could have had and in fact didn't just perplexed me... I literally almost fell asleep and I am one of the biggest LP fans out here but the way their shooting these videos now is almost like the band barely wants to be involved in the actual video. Its wierd, WFTE, ok, they all just stood in places while effects put stars around them, how hard could that shoot have been, BITS, really???, TC, was the best one out of the 3 they've put out

Ok, so it's confirmed Iridescent as the 3rd single and the Transformers 3 song. It's on linkinpark.com . Just click on the moon and you'll hear the song and see the Transformers logo.

Good choice as a single. I hope the video will kick ass.

Well first off, why would a band want to be in a video that's story-driven? It's like, "oh, I'm trying to get into the life of so-and-so and OH LOOK IT'S LINKIN PARK."

If you're really yearning for 'story-driven music videos', here's an example of a great one. Notice how there's no shots of the artist at all:

And while we're on the topic of subpar music videos, Linkin Park isn't exactly the best band to say "they've gotten worse." If anything, they've always been bad:

One Step Closer: Ninjas being chaotic on the ceiling.
Crawling: The chaos of a relationship.
Papercut: The results of having a chaotic brain.
In The End: A chaotic special effects guy decides he wants to make a music video. Also, chaotic flying whales.
Points of Authority: The chaos of a live show.
Pts.Of.Athrty: Robots taking part in a chaotic war.
Somewhere I Belong: The chaos of Chester's dreams. Also, elephants.
Faint: The chaos of a live show. Part 2.
Numb: The chaos of school expressed chaotically in a painting.
From The Inside: A riot is basically chaos. Also, chaotic kid declares the chaos is over 9000.
Breaking The Habit: The chaos of relationships. Part 2. In reverse.
What I've Done: Chaos in real life.
Bleed It Out: Chaotic party in reverse.
Shadow of the Day: A riot is basically chaos. Part 2.
Given Up: The chaos of a live show. The best trilogies come in threes.
Leave Out All The Rest: Chaos in space?
New Divide: Robots taking part in a chaotic war. Again.
The Catalyst: A riot is basically chaos. Still. That hasn't changed since the last time.
Waiting For The End: A chaotic display of organic being fused with technology. It's like the Terminator, but shiny.
Waiting For The End (live): The chaos of a live show. The fourth installment of the trilogy you all know and love.
Burning in the Skies: The calm before the stormchaos.

I see what you did there Minus...

Another great videos with -almost- no band in it is the awesome "Depeche Mode - Wrong" and actually also the -less amazing but still counts- sequel "Peace" from the same album.

matter of fact, I don't fancy the idea of autobots featuring in the Iridescent video
