Aron.. Is that like L Ron? But yeah, that's a pretty blatant Don't Stay knock-off. You'd think if he was going to rip off a song he'd at least pick a good one to copy.
I'll help you guys out some: It's Don't Stay Part 2 with a guitar riff similar to Red To Black by Fort Minor.
That sounds just like a song a friend of mine wrote years ago at school, which incidentally also borrowed heavily from Don't Stay.
Oh man. I thought Don't Stay was bad. What was that? You have to be just the scum of all bands when you start putting together music that bad that rips off other bad music that sold well.
How about how the loop in the song "Undead" is a pretty close rip off to papercut...
That's Crazy Train bro... And yeah they borrow a lot of aspects from other music. I don't really see the Don't Stay comparison, subject matter is totally different.
*What is the fuck wrong with my attempts to Recreate HT and Meteora with other bands?! Nu Metalz 4 Lifez
I don't understand why people hate on 'Nu Metal'. Personally I think the genre is subjective, and while this song in particular does fit the supposed sound, I don't know why the genre itself is hated. Like was said earlier, rock and rap have been mashing up for years.
But never was it so horribly done. Aerosmith and Run DMC's version of Walk This Way was great. Was it nu-metal? No. Rage Against The Machine fused rock and rap. Were they nu-metal? No. There's a distinct difference between rap rock and nu-metal.
