I think I peed myself, but it's okay because it's cold outside and it is warming me up.

Oh wait, not that kind of accident.

This is really great but it is too short and it needs Mike's part. It's my favorite part of Blackout and if you add it into the mix, it would make it AMAZING instead of just great.

I was going to put a reggae twang on "In Pieces" and make that a remix, but I realized Linkin Park beat me to it...

I have the instrumental to my remix if anyone wants me to upload it.

Darn, I'm not as good as making dubstep than other electronic sub-genres :/ I'll upload it sometime soon.

Btw, the other genres for the month mix up should be trance, electro, house, and orchestral. :D

I wasn't either honestly lol. I tried to remember four things. 1) Listen to LOTS of (good) dubstep. 2) Find a synth that is both dirty and has an easily automated LFO. 3) Swing in the drums. This is important. Unlike more electronic music dubstep is like the dub of old. It has an odd kind of swing in the kick and hi-hats. They hit more on a grid of thirds, like funk drumming or reggae. Not everything is right on the beat. 4) Get your bottom end right. Add more. Add more. Add more.

Just go with it! I got canned at my job so I spent maybe 4 days straight on that remix. Lots of trial and error. Sometimes you have to keep creating to get all the bad ideas out of your system.

I can definitely dig an electro/house remix contest haha

    1) I did that too LOL. Although considered too mainstream by some people, I listened to tons of skrillex for that wubwubwub bass.
    2) I made my own with the help of youtube tutorials. I'm still new to Massive, so making new sounds off of anything that goes beyond the saw, square, sine etc becomes really difficult. :/
    3) Really? I seem to disagree on that, but i guess its based on taste.
    4) I cannot disagree with you on this one.

I'll post my remix sometime tomorrow.

Holy crap. I'm glad I never attempted making a remix. I'd have to pick my pride up off of the floor with a mop after listening to Justin V and Best Asian Ever's remixes. Kick ass mixes guys!

I'll have to hear xefuzion's remix before I call this contest over. That might literally be one of the best remixes I've ever heard, though.
