Wiki says that Princess of China is featuring Rihanna. Interesting. edit; Whoa, why the fuck isn't Moving To Mars on the album? They have already released an EP of b-sides that is better than the album itself, why do it again..
I like what I've heard so far. I can't wait too hear the album in full to give my full review of it. Also, I really like the artwork as well!
Yeah, big news for today along with Paradise's release. I don't know how I feel about that yet. But Moving to Mars A.K.A. MTM probably didn't fit the context of the story. I mean, they've already got 14 tracks on there.
I really like Coldplay a lot and I'm looking forward to the release. Gonna listen to Paradise now, didn't know they released it yet. I have to say though that since I heard that Coldplay is a lot into the Illuminati stuff and believing that 2012 is gonna change the world, I can't properly enjoy their songs anymore without having a little meh feeling. Anyway, that shouldn't really influence if the music is good or not, and I'll definetely give the record a shot and hope that it's going to be that great, that I'm not going to care about why they might have written certain lines anymore.
Wow I didnt realize there were other Coldplay fans here. So far this sonds great. I didnt really care much for the first single though. Super excited for this one!
^ Now that's no way for mild-mannered Coldplay fans to behave. Aside from ETIAW, I'm not liking the sound of this album nearly as much as the leading tracks off VLV, but I'll give them a chance to grow.
My-Low Zai-Loto.... is that how you fucking pronounce the album name? Btw, I really dig the artworks for this (Illuminati or not). Music sounds gravy too.
I'm really glad to see so many LPA members also being fans of Coldplay. I definitely had not anticipated such a large number of Coldplay fans here. Makes me really wonder how many Coldplay fans would enjoy Linkin Park as well post MTM. I could see it happening, it makes me want to go to a coldplay fansite and go converting. And Ree, how much have you heard by them? I think you should give them a chance
I think it's My-low Sigh-low-toe? x] I loved every track the guys released so far concerning MX, though, and "Paradise" is stuck in my head now. I've always loved Coldplay (I put them behind LP before I found Skillet), so I'm definitely attacking Wal-Mart to grab the new CD once it comes out. I now want a Mike Shinoda/Chris Martin collabo this instant.
My problem with all of the songs released so far, even ETIAW, is the poppy production values that are putting a sheen of gloss over all the instruments. Viva La Vida also had very high production values but that was geared towards hearing every instrument cleanly rather than putting a beat behind the music. It reminds me of what they did on X&Y, which is probably their weakest album for me, and a step backwards from the more earthy sound of VLV. Like I said, ETIAW also suffers from this, but unlike the other songs released, it least has the pop catchiness to match all the other liberties taken in that regard.
It's officially pronounced: my-lo zy-letoe And I would love to hear what not just Mike but what Linkin Park could do with a collaboration between the two. Think about the concepts that could be made with vocals between Chester and Chris plus a rap or vocal or two from Mike. I really would enjoy a tour with the two as well!
I don't know why but I feel the need for LP to do a cover of Paradise.. I want to hear Chester sing it, and Mike to do backing vocals like the 'Oohoohoohoooohooho' part. A collab between LP and Coldplay would be too freaking epic for words. A Collision/Course kind of thing where they mix songs would make me so happy
