Wtf. Not even a day in and there's an entry lol. That was good. Gonna take me at least a week of solid work probably to get something done.

    Great Job Attack!!!

I usually don't like this song much but this sort of gives it a bit of new life.
One thing, I like the background vocals more so than the lead vocals...
I just like a deeper done better, I guess.

So this contest can have acoustic remixes too, right? and ANY instrument that is not electronic? (ex. electric guitar, synths etc)

    Covers only.

In terms of instruments... Just keep it simple. IMO, what makes a good acoustic song is the less is more approach. It's about the emotion and not so much trying to reinvent the wheel.

Is it alright to try Wisdom, Justice, and Love with the speech over it? Or should I do something else?

Do something else. No sampling. Fully unplugged please.

Btw, I think a few people are missing the point of this competition. Acoustic/Unplugged means zero electronic instruments. You can use bongos, triangles, tambourines, whatever...as long as whatever you use is unplugged/acoustic and is not electric in anyway (unless its an acoustic guitar with an amp which is okay ). Sampling defeats the whole meaning of keeping something acoustic. You can use the computer make instruments for this competition if you do not own any real instruments, but whatever you use MUST be a facsimile of an instrument that would be acoustic in real life.

In regards to my entry, I am not opposed to brutally honest criticism. So fire away.

Alright, I've settled on a song (but what will it be? DUN DUN DUUUUUUN!), came up with a pretty neat arrangement. It's going to be mainly acoustic guitar/piano/vocals, and I'm considering using a bunch of random household objects for some "percussion" sounds.

I think this is a good way for someone to make a name out for themselves. Is there a brilliant singer who is willing to cover a LP song maybe in a different fashion? Hopefully there will be some interesting covers out there and I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I'm excited to hear it, just because you're using items around the house for instruments. That already wins props.

*points out the hilarity that Astat (aka Dr. Octogonapus) made a post 3 posts above Malvar's post*
