    rise against- endgame
    foo fighters- wasting light
those are the only 2 that come to mind. They're the only 2 that I felt worthy of me going out and buying the physical copy. (I feel like that last comment made me sound like a dueche, but going out to buy cd's is quite the ordeal for me because I have to walk everywhere.) (Great, now I sound like a lazy ass). Also Can't wait for the new crash kings album. don't know if they'll have that out by the end of the year

My favorite album of this year is definitely Red's Until We Have Faces, but I'm pretty sure Staind's self-titled album is going to blow it out of the water. Also, is RHCP's I'm With You any good? What can it be compared to?

EDIT: You can all hate me, but I think Limp Bizkit's Gold Cobra is amazing.

I'm With You can probably just be compared to most of RHCP's other albums. It's not as great as their older stuff, but is still better than Stadium Arcadium, in my opinion of course.

Thrice: Major/Minor. Hands down, the best album of this year, and currently their magnum opus. Incredible stuff.

You enjoyed "In Waves"? I thought it was quite the letdown after what they did on Shogun. I also do not like the new drummer, too many blast beats where they don't belong.

Yeah, I couldn't really get into In Waves at all. I was hoping for something that would blow Shogun out of the water, but it was really average. Though, I feel a lot of the metal releases lately have been pretty disappointing.

I'd say for most of the super popular metalcore bands, that holds true. I was incredibly disappointed by For We Are Many from All That Remains as well. The Powerless Rise by As I Lay Dying was incredible though. From 2011, I've really been digging Leveler from August Burns Red and the Passion Of The Heist EP from I Am Abomination. Those are certainly worth listening to. Relentless Reckless Forever from Children Of Bodom is decent too.

I didn't hear anything about it being cancelled, but if it ever comes out it won't be anytime soon. *deletes it from list*

Well if 'story of my life' is any sign of the awesomeness of this project, I'm pretty excited. Though the guitar riff does kinda sound like Blink's 'Adam's Song'.
