Mike Shinoda has just announced on his blog that you can now pre-order the soundtrack for The Raid: Redemption. To do so, go to http://theraidsoundtrack.com/. There you can pre-order the physical CD or a digital version of the soundtrack. In either case, pre ordering will give you an instant download of RAZORS.OUT feat Chino. It's also worth noting that this is the only place to get the soundtrack. The CD will be shipped on or before April 14th.

The website is also streaming a few select tracks from the soundtrack now. In fact, these are the same tracks that we reported a matter of minutes ago to be on Mike's SoundCloud account. Among them is "SUICIDE MUSIC" featuring Get Busy Committee and a few instrumentals that presumably will be in the film's score.

What do you think of the tracks released so far? Will you be ordering the full soundtrack? Let us know in the forums!

Taking a listen now. Sounds decent thus far.

Edit: RAZORS.OUT is easily the best song we can listen to right now. I find the others to be average in my opinion.

I was tired as hell when I wrote this. I advise another staff member to make sure I didn't make any dumb typos. I'm off to bed .

    Eh?
    ?
Never heared for example Clint Mansell's work on Tree of Life? Movie soundtracks can be better than anything else in the world if done well.

EDIT: Sounds pretty good so far. SUICIDE MUSIC has a tight-ass instrumental. Mike's killer rap would have sounded amazing there. Dog Fight is headphones orgasm. And I suppose the sample player isn't even in full quality, gosh....

I'll preorder sometime in the next few weeks. From what I hear so far I am really impressed with all the tracks, especially RAZORS.OUT and Suicide Music.

For practically being made completely by Mike it's pretty impressive for a one man production (not really sure how much of a part Trapanese had). Goes to show how much of an influence Mike has on LP.

Mike is the only bandmember of LP I'd follow if he goes solo someday. As Maynard James Keenan when he opened up to other 2 bands beside Tool.
Chino Moreno belongs to Deftones... tried to listen to Team Sleep and it never did it for me and I didn't hear yet his new band honestly, I'll give it a try as soon as I can. Even Trent Reznor got me lost a bit with the soundtracks... they are not bad, just... he is doing with the soundtracks the music I did in 2008/2009 and I don't really feel the style anymore.
Dave Gahan might not be a genious, but he has a sublime voice and is another I follow no matter where he goes.
    Mike is a true-heart*echoes heart-art-art-art* genious.
