By that logic, some LP fans also "need" to respect ATS, but I don't foresee that happening soon. People will have differing opinions, and that's okay.

Because the lyrics were written with 10yr olds in mind. I don't think I've heard one person complain about how the music sounds.

Anyway, I hope they release some snippets!

Every facet of LP's work has been complained about by someone at one point or another. There's a relevant thread here if anyone wants to make more detailed posts regarding "Meteora". :)

So is lost in the echo considered cliche? Cause apparently everything else they've named so far is...

This is really exciting news. I'm not even gonna bother thinking of these as rumors, I'm pretty positive it's all true by this point. Lost in the Echo I wouldn't mind sounding a bit like I Have Not Begun, as far as a pure Shinoda track goes. (Just mean the song being purely rap, not how it sounds.) Also, excellent choice choosing an "anthem" as the lead single, hopefully it'll be a really energetic track, along the lines of Faint or One Step Closer. (Again, not the same sound, just in the same vein, like how energetic those songs are.) Just a good way to build up more hype for the album and get people excited.

I like both titles. I've learned more than well that pigeonholing LP's titling taste means a great surprise no matter what way you look at it.

When the news first came out that their debut single for their third album would be titled, "What I've Done," I thought it sounded stupid as hell. Then the single came out and I fanboy'd.

When I think of "anthem" I think "The Catalyst."

Oh, believe me, I know. I'm just being an asshole to those who are already sayin the new album sounds cliche without hearing one note off of the new album.

They should call it "Burn it Up". Much less Nickleback. More like Nicklefront.

I didn't think that at all. I thought that it sounds like a kick ass name for their new single. Nickelback's song, AkA, the Monday Night Raw theme song, is called "Burn It To The Ground." Avenged Sevenfold has a song called "Burn It Down" and it kicks ass. I'm happy with whatever LP names their songs.

I'm always really excited about music news, but never can picture anything about what I song might sound like by its name without somehow putting the title in the lyrics and having it to the tune of some other Linkin Park song
