    1. GXX XX BXXXK EP, Vol. 1 by $PVCXGHXZ†PVRRP
    2. The OF Tape, Vol. 2 by Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All
    3. Reign of Terror by Sleigh Bells
    4. Noctourniquet by The Mars Volta
    5. Habits & Contradictions by Schoolboy Q

If I could get through the 32 tracks of God's Father by Lil' B "The BasedGod", it'd definitely be on this list. But I can only listen to chunks of it at a time. It's kind of like a mash-up of I'm Gay and I Forgive You, actually. It's really good, just kinda long. And even I can't handle that much BasedGod.

I just realized that between April and October, there are going to be new albums from Linkin Park, MGMT, Muse, Passion Pit, Neon Trees, OneRepublic, as well as a new band called High Highs that I recommend you guys look up. 2012 is looking like a good year for the pop/mainstream stuff I like.

Also, Phoenix, How To Destroy Angels and Lupe Fiasco are well on their way to being finished/are finished with their new albums. Marilyn Manson is putting out an independent album, which is probably best for him.

Trent Reznor is going to be writing for Nine Inch Nails this year, and Massive Attack might be working on a new album.

    Should be an interesting year.

So there's gonna be new How To Destroy Angels, and new NIN this year? I knew about NIN but... Is Trent gonna cut himself in 2? O_O

Btw I really liked the new Enter Shikari album so far this year. And the new song Architects put out recently, These Colours Don't Run.
I'm pumped for new Smashing Pumpkins as well!

I don't think the new NIN is going to come out this year. He just said he was gonna write some NIN material and see what happens. It may not end up being anything significant. But, it also could end up being very significant.

and the How To Destroy Angels album went into mixing at the end of 2011. so it seems like that's done and ready to come out anytime.
