OK the 2nd puzzel just got scrumbling to me! WTF? i'm on chrom..damm

 

Would help if my laptop wasn't spazzing out. Turns out my Chrome likes to randomly add bits of MediaMonkey to my current webpage. This was what I was seeing.

Feel like such a fool now.

Looking at the css of the page, I found some properties made for a possible <audio> and <video> tags. And two icons designed for playing and stopping.

Nice find. The CSS is there, but unfortunately the elements aren't on the page yet, so nothing we can unlock from that ATM it looks like.

 

Chester Puzzle is gray - cant access

The puzzle with Chester is grayed out for me - I cant access it. I solved the first puzzle and logged in and out a few times because it said "come back twice a day to unlock more" or something, but it doesnt work :'( Any ideas?

I remember dreaming in May 2012 LP was going to do an industrial, bigass song, perfect for playing in giant stages at stadiums. I was fucking happy when we got The Catalyst, just what I thought they'd do.

It's not about logging in and out, The page will update a new puzzle twice a day (presumably every 12 hours).
Guys here are trying crazily to figure out the exact time a puzzle comes out.

 

Yes, I thought the same. I'm still searching and I'm not finding anything that resembles files "hidden" in the page. Maybe they're uploading or enabling the images at the reported time, to prevent us to find them after they are released.

Also, there's a element in the DOM section named "moves". Probably taking information about how much moves we made to solve the puzzles, or what are the 'correct' moves to solve the puzzle at first try (maybe to make that "sudo solve()" code to work). I really don't know.

 

People have been asking this quite a few times already. If you already solved it and SAVED it, DON'T PANIC, it's just that you are logged out.

If you go to BID.LP.com and see one or both puzzles unsolved, even if you did solve them, try clicking on the "save puzzle" link in the lower left screen, and when it asks you to log in, choose the option you used to save your progress. The page should refresh and your puzzles should be there the right way. I tested this by erasing my cookies.

BTW, like I said earlier, logging in through LP.com WILL NOT have any effect on the puzzles, because the Burn it Down website seems to work with a different database, hence the errors when trying to login with your email & password you have on LP.com.

 

I think the terminal won't be much use for the following puzzles... Or will have a different use as mentioned above

 

I think that these puzzles will eventually become tiles within the final "larger" puzzle (when you zoom out) at which point solving that one will unlock the song.

 

i was looking at this as well and i found that the black background was named broken noise, i don't know maybe if someone could scan it, it could have hidden info on it
