    LIVNGTHN QIYTLVKU

the one thing i notice is 2 v's. i think if we need a word that has 2 v's in it, maybe it involves reviving something? is there an old linkin park website that is no longer used? they may have put the song clip on there, and noones noticed because the site has been abandoned. Was there a site out during the HT days that is no longer used?

No, and we have no reason to go down that route. Focus on the numbers.

He didn't "discover it," LPA did and now he's putting it up as fact. However, the joke is on him because the way this puzzle is set up, "Living Things" simply CANNOT be the answer.

No he wasn't. He claimed "Burn It Down" wasn't the right name of the upcoming single, and later deleted that post/retracted it when LP announced it was Burn It Down. He also once said 2 years ago that the debut single was "A Thousand Suns" from Linkin Park's new album "The Catalyst".

Now please stop referencing that post as Xero21 just proved why it can't be "Living Things". That post is wrong and Living Things can stop already.

Chayand, I don't know if you read these posts:

But that's enough. Either contribute to the solving of this puzzle (which is NOT complete) or stay out of the discussion altogether. Thank you.

i am focusing on the numbers. and the numbers give us an anagram which tells us what to do. we can't do what the anagram says on the webpage, because we already know there is no coding to support secret passwords, and yet, once we know what the message is we'll hear song clips. so my theory is that this song clip is on a separate website

    How about changing bases?
All those numbers there are probably in base10 and at some point, whether before/after adding/subtracting/etc., they will reveal letters under base36.
Or it could be the other way round. Those letters could be in base36 and when changed back to base10 will reveal some important numbers.

    Just throwing random ideas out.

isn't there coding that involves base64 numbers on the website?

This is interesting. Is there any way you can do that? I don't know shit about coding.

I think you're looking WAY too far into it.

The only reasoning we'd have to start pouring through old websites (which as far as I know don't exist, since the webmasters simply replace old versions of the websites with new versions and erase the old directories) is if there was some sort of hint pointing us in that direction.

I don't think there's anything more to this than unscrambling the numbers and their associated letters to reveal a phrase or message. Much like how things worked out for the ATS message campaign.

If we subtract the actual number of the puzzle from the number, we get new numbers and new letters...PKV NE OA? Could we unscramble that into OPEN KAV? OPEN VAK? Or perhaps we could combine those new letters with the LIVNG TH NG stuff? Hmm...

No, the base64 has to do with displaying the images of the puzzle on the website.

For those who are working with the cryptography and ciphers, are the numbers coming from the pieces or something else? Will things get any easier with the 12th puzzle piece coming out in the next 1 hr 20 mins or do we already have all the information that is going to make this doable? Like some have said, I'm starting to think that more pieces being released isn't going to make things much easier. But IDK.

I brought this up a long time ago (and honestly, I forgot about this too). When you go to Firefox go to view, and select no page style, this comes up:

    Screen Shot 2012-04-09 at 6.35.48 PM.png

Then when you go back to the normal page, you get this:

Also, E&E's website talks about working with topspin a lot. So I think this may mean that there actually may not be an external site involved. Maybe when we punch in something in the terminal the topspin widget will activate, or something. (ignore the images below, I'm not sure why they're showing up )
