Right, so I've woken up early for good news, gone to BID.LP.com, found the "Unlocked. Come back." shit, come here and found nothing.. No snippets for anyone, comon Linkin Park, poor sod's have deprived themselves from sleep just to finish these puzzles legitly, and you just sit there smiling.. Come back...

good question. Broadly guessed I think between 12 and 16^^ But who knows. Maybe we'll get 28 songs

I hope for a record length of 45 - 55 minutes.

 

Less than 80 minutes definitely.
Unless they release a double album.

Yeah I hope we get longer songs, I don't want short songs like One Step Closer with a basic song structure.

 

I agree with this 100% ..... I want more songs with similiar length and progression to say, The Little Things Give You Away, 1stp klosr, krwling, etc.

 

But One Step Closer had it's place as a punchy, fast paced song...

 

They're just saying it's too short and not much compared to much more awesome songs, like, say, "Faint" or "Bleed It Out". Those two songs had layered backgrounds and notable sounds. "One Step Closer" merely had a simple guitar riff, and had too simple lyrics, but they were just beginning so we can't blame them. "One Step Closer" is catchy and fast-paced, but not much.

 

Songs from Hybrid Theory were "new" in it's own era just like A Thousand Suns now so it is irrelevant to compare a type like One Step Closer to newer music.

 

I'll be happy if we get at least two songs of about 5 minutes, but not 2 minutes song... I mean it's ok if they are interludes, unless they're pretty awesome songs.

 

bleed it out is only like ten seconds longer lol, but I just think that the longer a song is, the more it allows for a deeper and stronger build up, and even release, such as in blackout. But, its just my personal preference that those style of songs that linkin park produce happen to be my favorite.

Mostly because, they don't seem to get repetitive after the 100th listen lol
