30 Second Preview of BURN IT DOWN Released By Sonic 102.9

Based on listening to this 30 sec clip, mike has come to terms with being on "what I've done" type shit again, as he mentioned in the making of ATS. Which is okay by me, it sounds great. This is a pop record, and it's going to put LP back on the mainstream map. Let the debates about "selling out" begin...

 

Well, the point of ATS was to be as un-Linkin Park as possible. Now they're meshing it all together.

I actually think lyrically, New Divide is one of LP's best songs, along with possible What I've Done and TLTGYA.

 

I wasn't too thrilled for the chorus, though with all the sounds behind it and especially the little noises after the chorus. Wow, that sounded cool. I can't wait!

 

My exact feelings. Hopefully whatever lyrics come prior to the chorus give it more worth.

 

That's what I was saying. He was making the point that they had less time for this album, which is why the lyrics may suck. I brought New Divide up as a counter.

 

I totally agree with you minus, and I cant wait to hear it. Just pointing out that " winter is coming" in the form of hordes of whiners. I personally couldn't be more excited for this album cycle, I just know that further polarization is on the horizon.

 

Holy shoot. This clip makes even more excited.

Dont know if this was said already, but first thought on this for me is M2M meets ATS. Not bad at all, as I love both albums. Well, each one of their albums has a unique style(even HT/Meteora, meteora sounds pretty different for me), and I'm sure this ones gonna be unique aswell.

Not gonna lie. I like the lyrics. i hate practically all of the production. That includes the vocal production, which annoys the shit out of me when it gets to the chorus

 

It's legit, but it's just the snippets from the new game put together with the 30 sec preview. So nothing new

I wish it were better quality.

 

Did you even read the description? It says it's the snippets put together. As in, the 2-3 second snippets. Then the 30 second leak.
