New BURN IT DOWN Snippet Surfaces, Song Length Confirmed

I dunno, maybe there will be a Linkin Park DLC pack for Rock Band Blitz when it's released that contains multi-tracks.

Funny, it's like poppy dance track at first and then all of a sudden this in-your-face-mothafukkaa!! groove comes in.
There might be jazz and classical in the end, who knows?

Pretty good length. I was hoping for about 4 1/2 minutes to I'll take this. That pretty much guarantees it'll have a solid intro, verse/chorus 1, verse/chorus 2, presumably Mike's rap acting as the bridge, and a big closing chorus. New Divide was like 4:29 and that gave it time for all that plus the electronic breakdown before Chester's part of the bridge. That said, there probably won't be time for any electronic breakdowns in Burn it Down. Oh well, thank God they'll both be in the song though.

Seriously, if New Divide had some Mike in it, it would've been perfect.

 

Now the thing is they don't trim it to fit in a music video like they did with The Catalyst.

 

Seeing as the track is less than 4 minutes long, there really isn't anything to trim off for the music video.

It is pretty poppy, but I like it a lot. Catchy, easy to get stuck in your head. I can see this being a hit live.

The song length is perfect for a 1st single, and overall the length is good and doesn't feel short. Amazing clip btw

 

Pretty sure Mike just confirmed Living Things as the album title on Twitter.
