Well anyway dudes I can't say how much I'm looking forward to Burn It Down, I think it's gonna be a great single no matter what.

The lack of live drums or whatever was said makes no difference to me, and am I the only one who thinks the single's cover artwork looks like iron man? lol

I'm soooo happy to be a part of this place at last.

Not really. Some people just don't bitch about things they can't change, like a 5 year-old.

Uh no... It's a man that composed everything on the album except for some strings from a program that was made for musicians to sample from. Who cares.

    you sound like:

"OMG MIKE SHINODA SAMPLED SOMETHING! HE DOESN'T WRITE EVERYTHING! HE'S SO LAZY! (EVEN THOUGH HE COMPOSED 99% OF THE ALBUM HIMSELF)"

It's like calling LP lazy for bringing in a collaborator for strings for one song on an album.

First thing this is not New Divide 2.0...This is Burn It Down...If you don't want to believe this then wait until the full song is released to try the ketchup motherfuckers :WTF:. Be happy we have new LP music and we aren't waiting another year for the album.

    Rocky's post made me LOL!

It's gonna be good here :)

I say Stylo is right, everybody sit back, relax and be happy that we're getting not only a new single so soon, but a new album.

Haha exactly. Holy shit they didn't play the strings on Breaking the Habit?! That's it, fuck this band!

Some people will just never get it. I have my right to an opinion, sorry it's not the same as the kool-aid (or ketchup, as it's called here) version of things.

Hahaha, yes, you'll find that redundant arguments about Linkin Park's music are frequent occurrences during new album cycles.

That's hardly the same. At all. Somebody was brought in to PHYSICALLY write and play that. Do you see the difference? No?

But then again, that was SHOWN on the Making of Meteora DVD, which I can't assume everyone here in 2012 has seen.

What point? to me it looks like a opnion, he just don't like the chorus because the drums are simple and eletronic, and that the beat are made on Garaband.

the strings on believe me are actually the main musical theme of the song, it's a hook, if you rip that of a program like garage band i'd call it cheating. the strings on breaking the habit just contribute to the song and were very likely written on a keyboard or with samples before they added the live strings.

Ugh. Forget the Believe Me part, nobody gets why I brought it up in the first place.

Yeah, I expected something a little more "cutting edge." But I think we were a little spoiled with ATS and I can accept that.

Lol! Then I think I'm gonna be very, very happy here.

Despite the redundant arguments you all seem to get along just fine 99% of the time.

Yeah, to be honest this is the most heated debate we've had all week, as long as it doesn't resort to flaming and being disrespectful it's all good. Stop by the shoutbox for the randomest chat ever. Glad you joined!
