Well I should change my name to Lord and the Almighty Savior then because that's exactly what I did during ATS era and I intend to do it again!

Good for you man, good for you. I'm not as bad as the people who convert 30-second previews into mp3's and play them on a loop while they sleep, but for damn sure I'm not strong enough to not listen to them at least a few times.

I couldn't hold back from listening to ATS leaks and previews and I have regreted doing. I hope I have enough will power to hold back from listening to any for this album. You do get somewhat of a high from depriving yourself from this such as new linkin park music. In the end i will be much more hyped for the new album, and really enjoy listening to it.

Album release time is a really fun period so don't regret listening. You'll have fun and enjoy it all still. It's a great time to be a Linkin Park fan!

I agree with you too. I took a week off from LP before the official release. Therefore I went in completely deprived of Linkin Park. But that exciting feeling of seeing the package at your front door, then opening it and seeing the track list for the first time was exhilarating. Plugging it in to my stereo and putting on my headphone while closing myself from all things outside. Turn down the lights and sat down. I remember how long it felt when The Requiem first came on. The Requiem really was the perfect way to enter ATS. It really is a magnificent feeling

I will take the challenge. I've already succumbed to listening to BID clips, but I'm drawing the line there. I'm going to savor this release, they are few and far between. To succeed, I will probably have to avoid this site. If I see any links talking about previews, I will click them. Lol. So the key is avoiding the constant feed of information this site is so adept at providing. The less I know, the better. Haha

It was so cool for me to hear about the songs that were good but have no idea about the details of the songs. Hearing WFTE and WTCFM was like a big What the Fuck!
I remember finishing the album and just feeling mind blown and having no opinions at all of the album. Just pure what the fuck and I want to listen again!

Oh you caught me. Forgot about the initial single contest. The first single is always my exception, except this time around at least

I'm listening to BID and nothing else. With ATS I was so hyped I couldn't help listening to the previews, except WTFCM's. Didn't listen to the leak though, first listen was at 5AM in the morning, lights out. I was fucking CREEPED OUT by The Requiem. WTFCM's ending was such a surprise. This time I won't be listening to Lost In The Echo's previews, it will be this album's WTFCM. The reviews make it sound fucking awesome.

    "Living Things?"

    Eh?

That's the weakest album title I've ever heard.

How did this go from a album name rating to a album quality rating?

Hybrid Theory: Great debut. The band sounds fresh and inspired, despite some flaws.
Meteora: Has its moments but for the most part tries to hard to be a better HT and fails.
MTM: Almost like an inverse Meteora: has its moments but they're trying too hard not to sound like anything they did before, and it's really noticeable.
ATS: The best album they've made so far.
