I respectfully disagree, kind sir. Here's an example of why lyrics and rhyme structures on HT are far better and complex than on Meteora: and the fact that lyrics on HT actually make sense unlike on Meteora is another story... Good day! *puts hat on and walks away*
Why do you care? He thinks it has better lyrics. You don't need to prove him wrong, the fact you're aware that HT is better should be enough. Same goes for Minus, the eternal Meteora hater and prove-to-be-wronger. Although I applaud the effort he takes in trashing the best LP album out there.

firstly, I think Mikes lyrics are his career low point, its evident from the Making of Meteora that Don Gilmore simplified and sucked the life out of each verse. Almost all the lyrics do away with multi syllable complex rhyme schemes in favour of an AA, BB, CC, DD .. its obvious the lyrics are aimed to be catchy rather than good. Secondly, it feels like it aimed to be generic as possible, every song is about nothing. Theres no soul or heart in it, its just a bunch of generically emotive words thrown together. every song sounds like it has a Hybrid Theory counterpart, and the tracklisting is pretty much the same (i.e, the instrumental track followed by metal ballad) . Its also like 39 minutes long, every song is around or under 3 minutes, and coupled with the overdone mixing, no song feels like it has any space to breathe or progress. Meteoras success comes in doing exactly what it was made to do, use a formula sell milllions. Compare Meteora to A Thousand Suns and the difference is ten fold
