Definitely written to hype the album up, which is exactly what it has done for me!!

As many have said, "Victimized" has caught my attention big time. A through back for LP fans who just want them to lose their shit.

I agree that the article was a little over the top but the track descriptions have me super excited!

I'll actually be really upset if Victimized is Given Up 2.0.

I wouldn't buy it from LPA if it was discounted. Already got my LP.com pre order.

"Victimized" and "heaviest Linkin Park track yet" REALLY blew my mind. Honestly though this article was written so beautifully. It almost feels like the new music is playing in my head already!

Also the fact that nothing was said of Tinfoil definitely makes me believe it's an instrumental or interlude.

I'm guessing this guy thinks Britney Spears' music is "brutal" as well. ;)

    "One Step Closer 3.0". ;P

    DAFUQ DID I JUST READ??!!

    - LIVING THINGS is a new classic
    - One of the best albums of the decade
    - Linkin Park's best record and a landmark for rock as a whole
    - VICTIMIZED the heaviest track ever?
    - UNTIL IT BREAKS is a ballad
    - IN MY REMAINS has military drums
    - CASTLE OF GLASS has the most poetic lyrics to date

    GIVE ME THE ALBUM!!!!

Honestly, i wish you guys would quit posting every article that reviews LP's album. I have become so unenthusiastic about review articles lately that i couldn't even get through more than a sentence before i booked. >_<

I mean i can understand some people find it interesting or need it and that its the way of the album release cycle for both the band and the fans. At this point for me though, i really couldn't give a shit what some random person, even a fellow fan thinks about the album (positive or negative) and what word they dig out to describe it. All i know is that I will buy the album come its release, hard copy, in a store i care to support along with LP and listen to it from start to finish. Then listen again and again. Give myself time to absorb what i heard before i make up my mind about what i think about Living Things. That is the only opinion that will matter to me.

    The article made me

It sounds like a promotional abstract of the album, coming straight from Warner.
With all respect to Mr. Florino, this article is useless for me regarding the over all quality, though, I like the descriptions.

I'm pretty sure Tinfoil will turn out to be an instrumental, indeed.
No single words about it. If I'm wrong, I'll take all the blame on me.

Honestly, regardless of the reviewer being in love with Linkin Park, you're putting your reputation on the line when you say this album is the best of the decade and also a landmark. This hype might be overboard, but it seems to me as if there may be some justice to his words. However, I'll wait and listen to decide if this is the album of the decade and a landmark.

You wouldn't be buying from LPA, you'd still be buying from LP.com, just through our referral link.

I'm so excited for this album and not just because of the really promising descriptions of the songs, but also because of the fact that Linkin Park fans investors and promoting the album than previous albums.
That band is so close to her fans shows they care about us.
That's all What bands need these days.
I'm a fan of the band for over 6 years, and every album I was amazed at how the band makes the fans Be as hyped as they can.
That leaves another month and a little wait and I know one thing for sure.
    I would not be disappointed.

Neat descriptions, but calling Burn It Down a timeless anthem is just being full of crap, and no one can convince me otherwise. I'm still being cautiously doubtful, leaning towards optimistic as Living Things are concerned.

Yes, maybe that guy is over exciting us, but I'm sure LIVING THINGS will be amazing anyways.:headbang:
Even if you don't believe in his excitement, I'm sure the song descriptions are spot-on.
PD: I bet he cried while listening to the whole album.
