I am fucking digging the shit out of it. Yeah it's a little too short, but the energy is just incredible. Definitely not what I expected.

 

I'm still on the fence about it.

When I first heard Burn It Down, I loved it at first listen, and to this day listen to it multiple times a day and love it. There was no "trying" to love it. With Lies Greed Misery, when I first heard it all I thought was "what the fuck?"

That said, it has grown on me a little bit, but the shortness of the song is killing me. It doesn't have time to go anywhere, and ends way too abruptly I think. However, I absolutely love Mike's verses, and I do really like the screaming at the end. The chorus I'm still iffy about though. Maybe once I have all the lyrics down and I'm singing it at top volume I'll like it more. lol

Still giving it more listens, but didn't have the impression on me that Burn It Down had. Although, I still have no doubts this album will be insanely spectacular.

 

I hope my neighbours are loving it as much as I am.

The song is great! This in-your-face type of songs are always welcomed. Chester's screaming was fuckin' brutal. Can't wait to see how they play this song live.

Mike's intro to the song only works because of the weird repeat effect they use on the word "nail". Without that he doesn't have enough syllables to fit the first line. lol It's a bitch to try and rap that with him.

 

My god, LP fans have gotten so pessimistic. We really have a BAD habit of comparing songs. It's ridiculous.

I love the song. I don't think it's too short or too different or too cookie-cutter at all. It's great. Reminiscent and power-packed, yet off the wall.

 

I like it. At first, I was unsure but it has grown on me. Mikes verses are great but I dont know exactly how I feel about the chorus.

 

I love the chorus. It's like ice cream and lollipops mixed in with michael myers.

 

I used capslock because if I was saying that to you in person I would be screaming. ALL CAPS EVERYTHING!

 

I agree. So much better with headphones! The drums, and everything are amazing with drums. I noticed that the rest of the band(or is it just Mike) is backing Chester up during the chorus.
