glad it wasn't the band's fault, but that ruins tv audience big time. you think the officials would amend and reshow it again? cuz i know japs are very serious when it comes to music.
Yeah, thanks for getting confirmation. This is why you don't be too critical before knowing the facts...
Yeah Mike just wrote us to clarify it was a tv problem (which we already suspected) and that the actual performance went smoothly. Shame the tv messed up. At least the people there heard it right .

cant believe ppl even thought lp screwed up, u can see joe playing and 0 music it was obviously tv mistake... get real
What's up with this? Can someone explain me what happened? Because Chester doesn't seem like anything wrong is going on... So, they put the original song on TV? LOL now I'm even more confused. EDIT: Oh, I get it now. Sorry for not reading.
Well the YouTube video has been taken down by WMG, but if you watch the full video in the link and scroll to 2:15, you can hear where the TV station starts playing the intro AGAIN, after the original intro has already begun. My guess is they made the delayed audio the primary source on the feed but left the audio of Chester's vocals in sync with the performance. In short, the TV station fucked up. The band had no idea, they just performed the song normally to the live audience, but some audio channels got mixed up somewhere in the TV feed.
I'm pretty sure they do, because I've heard Joe mess up the pad/keyboard thing on a song once. Seemed like that might have been the case, because the lyrics were ahead for a bit, and after the lyrics were fixed the audio went back to normal.
