I, for some unknown reason to me, got LIVING THINGS through my letter box today instead of the 25th, the UK release date. When I saw the front cover, I instantly noticed that the 'Linkin Park Living Things' font was on the LEFT hand side of the album art work, not the RIGHT hand side as shown on this website, LP.com and basically every other image of the album cover. Has anyone else who has the CD got this too? Moreover, does anyone know why I got my album two days early? Cheers
Getting a preordered album early isn't uncommon, I've already gotten my preorder of LT, and it's not out til the 26th here... In fact, every LP album I've preordered (Meteora, MTM, ATS, and LT) all came early... And the odd font placement, that's something I've yet to see... Maybe you got the one and only special edition!
I have pre-ordered MTM and ATS both from Play.com (where I bought LT) and got them on the official release day, however I nearly always get games one day before... Hmm... And I genuinely hope mine is an odd one out! It would be so cool to be the only one with a different front cover!
I will take and upload a picture of it and then put it in my original post in an hour or so, I'm still in bed now!
I purchased mine on Play.com. Nothing is wrong with the album at all; the CD, the packaging or inside the booklet - it just happens to be that the words are on the left.
Yes it is, which is why it's weird that his is on the left side. When you opened said case, did there happen to be a giant cookie with a hole in it as opposed to an actual CD by any chance?
