Where can we find the official numbers for the end of week sales? Aren't they released on Tuesday?

    http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/

this site is not official figures but it always realeases figures 95% close to what billbaord announces one day before it.
it also release an update on monday with about 50% of distributers company figures ( this doesnt mean the update they release is 50% of the total sales. it is 50% of the company's out there that sell music albums like amazon, itunes, etc...)

The following link is a direct link to the sales charts which get updated 1 or 2 times before final figures are released on tuesday

I've heard of everyone on that list but Jedward. Is he like a famous Irish singer that's extremely popular in Ireland but like unknown in most of the rest of the world? He's #1 in Ireland but not in top 100 in UK, so I assume it's not just US who doesn't know about him.

From my understanding, Jedward is a pop duo that were on X-Factor quite a few years ago that everyone I talk to about says they hate.

Ah ok. So everyone must hate them but Ireland. I see.

I myself bought it 4 times and got 8 others to buy it. I think I did my part. Linkin Park was number one as to my knowledge but went to number 2 thanks to Maroon 5 :(

Damn, nice! I bought it twice and got about five others to get a copy. Are you looking at the iTunes charts? Because they don't represent all sales of the albums. Take into account Amazon sales, sales from the LP site and physical copies of the CD (just to mention a few). Only way we'll know for certain is on Tuesday when they put out sales figures.

And anyway, my primary interest in LP getting to number 1 was to see them get the recognition they deserve for a great album. Now that I know that the album is doing very well, it's kind of irrelevant (for me anyway) whether they come first or second or wherever.

They were at the Eurovision Song Contest twice. I think there must have been some charted singles in Europe.

Living Things just debuted at the number one spot here in New Zealand, obviously beating both Maroon 5 and JB. Faith in humanity restored.
