I wanted to know which LP album instrumental do you think is the best. I only chose the real instrumentals, not instrumentals like Empty Spaces.
I used to the freak the hell out of people when my phone started to playing MRRR HAHHHN as its ringtone. Specifically with that line on repeat. My vote goes to "I would like to introduce. .Mr HAHHHHNNN!"
I was about to vote TINFOIL and make Session a close second, but I agree with you guys. However I think Jornada del Muerto should've been taken into account, it's even longer than TINFOIL and a great track for me, excellent intro for WFTE
"Jornada" features sung vocals; just personally, I wouldn't classify it as an instrumental. Wouldn't know what to say about Joe Hahn's spoken-word bits in "Cure", though ;P
I was about to mention the 2nd line .. I don't know about Jornada I view it as an instrumental because it only has two words technically. Idk but it's a great track nonetheless.
I voted for Session, even though I'm not really a fan of Meteora. Tinfoil is cool too, and I love the build up in Wake. CFTI is probably the weakest of that list.
I will deliberately ignore the 'album' part simply to say Pale is the best instrument LP has released ever.
Pale is just WAAAAY too long as an instrumental. I'm not saying long instrumentals are a bad thing, but nothing really happens in Pale. It would have been glorious as a track with vocals but otherwise it's just too boring IMO. Out of albums I'd say Session is the top pick. Lockjaw takes the cake though outside of studio records. And would Announcement Service Public be classified as an instrumental? It's only vocals are completely incoherent and in the background. ASP would be my overall favourite if so.
CFTI. I don't like Session. Wake is cool, but too short to me. Tinfoil is OK to me, I like it better than Session.
