Castle Of Glass : "String and horns: Mike Shinoda"

    In the lyric booklet of the album,under the song "Castle Of Glass",is written "String and horns: Mike Shinoda".
    I can barely hear the strings,but I can't hear the "horns" at all :D Am I the only one ?
    Also,does this means Mike "played" the strings and horns? Or he just composed them ?

    I can hear the horns towards the last chorus, sounds nice.

    At the end, before and during the last chorus I can hear some horns.

    It's around the 2:45 mark that you can hear it the clearest.

    Yeah I listened to those for a while and now whenever I listen to the album, I hear all the softer noises, it's pretty cool.

    If it was Phoenix and Brad, it would've said

    Strings: Phoenix
    Horns: Brad

    rather than

    Strings and horns: Mike Shinoda.

    Only "Hybrid" answered the other question :D Mike played them or composed ? If he composed them,well,there should've been "guitars: Mike shinoda" or "piano: Mike shinoda",under the other songs too:D
    I mean,he also composed (most of) the other songs :D,why does it only appear under "Castle Of Glass",that he composed the strings and horns ?
    I'd stick out with he played'em :D

    I think Mike played the strings in Castle Of Glass because in an interview he said:
