I'm excited. I've heard some of your stuff and I've liked it. It's good to know people that like to remix songs from other artists, not including famous ones!^^

I really like the sounds you used on this and the glitching you did with Chester's vocals. Just felt like it dragged on through the first half and the way you set it up, I really expected some huge drops.. Aside from that, it's an awesome mix!

thanks guys! but I think it's not the final version, it could be better.

edit: I edited it at some points and now I'm rendering it to .mp3 so it's offline for like 15 minutes

If anything, I'd say the mastering needs a bit more work. I feel like some sounds are a bit too loud. Other than that, I don't think you need to change too much. I also don't think you need to make it shorter or something, I mean, it is a rather lengthy remix but it works for this kind of music.

I'd give you more feedback but you removed the track so that's all I can say for now

Thanks mate. Listening to yours now. Sounding pretty good so far. Like Decay said though, the mixdown/mastering needs a little bit of work and the vocal chopping bit does seem to go on for a little long. Something as simple as just adding another sound would have helped break that up. A little variation in the track as a whole would have really helped I think, but that might be getting into personal preference.

Am I way off if I think Mike's song from the Raid OST Machete Standoff was a huge inspiration on this one for you?
Which is good of course since it's my favorite track on that album, is just that I think a lot on it while listening and kinda drags me away from the actual remix. That detail apart, so far yours is the best IMO.
    Welcome, by the way.

I've actually never heard any of the songs from that album, so that's just pure coincidence. Thanks for the kind words though. =]

Cheers man. Makes me happy that my remix is being received so warmly. =]

Really loving the chilled out vibe of your remix. Very nice take on the original. Only thing I can hear that sounds off to me is how dry the percussion is. It's not like, death valley dry, but I feel like a little more reverb would have helped it. Very nice overall though.
