LP's 6th Album

Don't forget Transformers 4 next year (2013), i hope LP will continue make OST for that franchise.. an EP for TF4 would be totally cool...

 

Right now I'm content enjoying Living Things for the coming few months, then LPU12 after that, then seeing them live when they come to Australia.

But knowing how they've surprised us the past couple of albums, it's probably going to be a spoken word album featuring guest appearances by William Shatner and Alan Rickman.

It's FAR too early to start guessing what's gonna be the next step, there might not even be another album after LT, highly unlikely, but anyway... The only things I would like is that they call it "Album 6" (or some variation) adn that the keep all the original demo-titles. That's a great concept!

 

Linkin Park is a creative band, and they always come up with great titles. Why would they just call it ''Album 6''. Their album titles, especially Hybrid Theory, A Thousand Suns and Living Things are awesome.

 

I know, just thought it could be fun haha

 

It would be cool if they made some kind of Beastie-Boys inspired song with Chester scream-rapping over heavy walls of noises.

 

I like the progressive-rock suggestion. They have a great sound; now they just need to do more with it. I would like to see longer songs with more instrumental periods. And Brad needs to learn how to solo and do more of that on the next record. That would be awesome!

 

I would love to hear some electronic rock songs! I want the energy and sound of songs like Given Up, No More Sorrow, and What I've Done but with the electronic feel of WTCFM, Lost In The Echo, LGM, and UIB! And some rap bridges!! I guess it would sound like BURN IT DOWN but less "poppy", Alot heavier and less "happy" sounding electronics! That would make an AWESOME album!

 

Maybe not a concept, but I would love at some point for Linkin Park to try a double album.

I want to hear some growth in the actual instrument area. Get some sweet prog in there.

 

Christmas album.

 

ill manage with LT till the new album comes out. i can hear it forever.

 

Something like ATS, musically. Just the band succeeding at giving us a new enjoyable vibe.

 

Tell that to Green Day, 3 albums in 6 months

 

I love Chesters and Mikes voices so I would love to hear an album with less intrsunental. Though I love Robs parts because he can play the drums really great! And a double album like what SuperDude said would be awesome !

 

Have you heard ''Oh Love''? It's freaking BORING.

Stadium Arcadium was a great double album. Took 4 years, and they worked with the material of their last album.

 

I think they should spend a good long time and their next album, and show what they're capable of, I'd love more piano from Mike like on Living Things, but we need more solos from Brad.
