I think I can see you're going with this, but still think you could use some improvements. It seems like puzzle pieces that just miss fitting together..

No, I'm not going with that. I'm still working on it / on a new one... But the problem is, I'm new in this "remix-business", so it takes me a lot of time and practice to make a remix / beat.

Thinking out of the box/doing something out of the ordinary with a song gets applauded so don't worry about that too much. Stay true to yourself and do whatever you think makes a good remix. Do that and I'm sure it'll work out ;)

I believe the BPM is 120.

Not bad! I feel like maybe your instrumental (not including your percussion) could be a bit louder, but besides that, it's pretty solid. Good work.

I like it but there's one thing that's kinda bugging me. Some parts have these build-ups and you expect that the remix is gonna get real loud, but then it just becomes more silent again and it leaves the listener a bit unsatisfied. This could be all a matter of opinion though but that kinda bugs me.

What I do like is the overall sound of the remix and what you did with the vocals at the end. It's a solid remix but I think you should use the rest of the month to really make it standout. In my opinion it lacks something but I can't put my finger on it. I'm guessing it needs a bit more power. If you're going for a more calm/ambient remix, then I suggest getting rid of the build-ups in the middle of the song (keeping the one at the end). In that case, I'd go with no song structure and just build-up (constantly introducing new sounds) 'til the very end.

Anyway, I hope this helps you out! :)

The whole dynamic structure was my effort to make this rmx something more than a clone of the original track; although I tried, the transitions from the heavy verses into the dreamy-breakdown choruses probably don't work as well as I'd hoped.

Originally, the first couple of choruses were loud - I might revisit the track and use that approach again
