They're really milking this, but it's good to see Brian back at least. Head coming back (for a few shows, for now) is closest to the original lineup that this band will ever get.

I think KoRn should just go full time with the Path Of Totality sound. Going back to their straight up dated nu metal sound would be suicide for them.

Ugh, as much as I would hate the return of the Nu metal sound I'm not sure the whole dubstep thing is any better. I really hate it.

If they're still together in a few years there'll be another electronic album. And the Korn camp will claim it something groundbreaking. Again.

Jonathan Davis seems pretty hooked on EDM at the moment with his side project Killbot (he calls himself J Devil in the group, oh the hilarity :lgh:) , so I really doubt that we are going to be getting anything different from what we got from Path of Totality.

Munky said the new material is more along the lines of Issues styled stuff. But that's before a producer and JD putting his stamp on.

And the stuff that was coming out before PoT was really going was "like Soundgardenish."

If they did something like house-metal or industrial that'd be something I'd be interested in hearing. But IMO dubstep blows. It's boring and stupid and only made worse by the fact that bands writing is aweful these days. Get up was some of the worst writing I've ever heard. Period.

I may be biased seeing as I'm a huge electronica fan, but I thought POT was their best album by far since Untouchables.

What became of the drummer though? David Silveria? Is he not coming back?

Nah, his relationship with Korn has really soured over the years.

Jonathan Davis did his dubstep thing as an opening act for the Korn show in Fargo a few months ago. Gave me a massive headache, and that video pretty much sums up his show. a typical song is this: "FUCK!!" <electro wobble garble> "SHIT!" <electro wobble garble> "MOTHER FUCKERS!!!" <even more electro wobble garble>. The other opening act consisted of some guy who clearly has zero respect for music and put dubstep noises over Deftones and Johnny Cash.

Head coming back to the band sounds cool though.

    Garbage.

The only saving grace is that it has been leaked that Deftones will be playing there as well.
