"Points of Authority (LPU 12 - Demo)" it's a slightly different mix than the others we already have. Listen to the 1:30 minute and compare with the other 18 POA demos.
And once again, another LPU cd becomes proof of how much better Meteora would have become, if the label hadn't forced the band to take a wrong turn.
I was not expecting Debris but I really liked. So Far Away is awesome too but my favorite is definitely Asbestos, just loved Mike in this song.
Omg I just signed up in april for lpu 11, but I HAVE to sign up for LPU 12! The package looks amazing, and not to mention the CD tracklist looks great. How did it leak already?
For the fist time I bought the LPU membership in the day of release. The art looks awesome, and the merchandising too. Downloading the CD right now. Unfortunately I can't login to the site. It shows me the "Welcome back!" message, but keeps asking me to do the login. Any ideas for what to do??
Does this mean if I want the digital download now - I have to buy that on top of buying the Physical LPU Package?
Nice package and another great yearly CD, but I'm never renewing my LPU membership with that $60 pricetag.
With all these M2M demos I'm surprised we didn't get a BIO one. Wasn't that one of the songs Mike kept writing over and over again? There should be a couple demos for it. I think Bunker had potential, it could have sounded good with rapping over it. For some reason, it reminds me of Slip Out The Back.
Just heard the whole album. Not the best LPU CD so far but still a great one. "So Far Away" and "Debris" are really unexpected and the best of this annual edition. EDIT: I had the same problem a year or two ago. I got in contact with the ground(ctrl) support (which were really helpful) and they solved the problem. I just repeated the procedure this time, but I'm still waiting for response.
So Far Away has samples from Soundtrack. Also, that demo of POA has a short breakdown before the 2nd chorus.
I miss the times when Joe Hahn was doing scratch like the one on the "So Far Away". Now he does almost nothing, and on the stage he just sees his bandmates playing.....
