Yeah, Debris reminded me of Fort Minor (with a bit of Hands Held High), too.

 

Now that I've listened to the CD, I can say that I really like it. Debris is pretty cool, So Far Away as well. I wonder what the Asbestos lyrics are about?

Man I totally agree. Especilly with HALO and a-6. Those 2 songs are so freakin good and i feel halo would of been perfect because it def has the meteora feel but is also very different. I fuckin love those 2.

 

Pepper is better than the whole Meteora and Debris should be a Fort Minor song.

EDIT: WTF. How Ominous and Pepper aren't songs of Meteora and Don't Fucking Stay and From The Inside are there?

 

Awesome! m_macdonald is a great remixer, I'm sure it will turn out very well. Also, Derek, what about a montlhy remix contest with "LPU mashup" as thema? This way, we would get tons of quality mashup with the LPU instrumentals

Also, I don't know where to post it, I guess this thread coud match, soi here's my take on Victimized/Asbestos. I found out the victimized rap part matchs pretty well with the instrumental!

I've always wanted to hear the 2 meteora songs on the making of meteora. One Chester sings "just drag it out, remember" and the other Chester sings something like "____ take away my pride ____ deep inside". Anyone know about those? And the figure 09 demo on there too sounds totally diff from the demo we got on lpu9 and the final version

 

I wonder if LP will ever go back to that grunge style of sound they had on some songs. I for one really liked it.

I don't understand why you hate Meteora so much. For me it is in the top 3 albums, and I don't like its instrumental demos so much.

Has anybody else noticed that the drums on So Far Away are almost identical to Soundtrack from LPU11. The piano in the second verse is basically the same as well, maybe in a slightly different key
