I was wondering what's the most popular B-Side is -my guess is QWERTY.

    They are
    -Blackbirds
    -Pretend to Be
    -No Roads Left
    -QWERTY
    -Across the Line

Mines definitely No Roads Left :)

Most popular QWERTY, the best either Across the Line or QWERTY they both so good, but this is proof LP really fucked up with MTM, it could've been their best album to date taking out In Between and adding those songs.

I agree MTM could of been better. But all songs are good I think, they just chose the wrong 12 songs I guess

this is true, In Between, TLTGYA and maybe even SOTD would've been better as the B-sides and then add in QWERTY, Across the Line and No Roads Left

Another thing that makes no sense whatsoever is how In Between even ended up on the album, I mean it makes sense they didn't pick No roads Left because Mike probably didn't want to play it live that makes snese, but why would they pick In Between instead of Across the Line, that song is fuckin amazing.

Yes! In Between is great, but it sounds for suitable for a demo - along with TLTGYA, I like how they put blackbirds on ATS though. Hearing No Roads Left live, it doesn't sound good (maybe cause it's a bleed it out bridge) but if he could play that live with ease, I think it'd be on the album.

I feel that In Between made the album because the sole purpose of the album is that Minutes To Midnight was going to be a stark contrast to what people thought "Linkin Park Music" was supposed to be. The song is so radically different that I see it as a highlight on the album. Unfortunately, most people fail to understand the "concept" that Minutes was supposed to be radically different. As far as adding QWERTY to the album, that song has so much of that Nu-Metal feeling in it that it would be detrimental to what the idea behind what MTM was supposed to convey. Across The Line still has that "I'm supposed to be a demo" feeling to it. The melody in the chorus, every time I hear it, I still remember Mike making fun of it in the making of MTM. Even though it got real lyrics, it still feels like it never really was supposed to be finished, yet alone, belong on any album. I still love the songs and I still listen to them regularly, just wanted to weigh in an opinion.

No, In Between, TLTGYA and SOAD are awesome. MTM would be bad without them. Anyway, my choice is Blackbirds. That song is awesome, maybe it gets a bit boring until the rap part comes but the lyrics, the strings, everything is just perfect in that song.

    No Roads Left

And Hybrid has it right. The purpose of the album was to show that the band could do other things than angry, power-chord driven songs (even if there were a few on MTM).

I didn't say it weren't, I just think some *lighter* demos were better than some of the songs that made the album, in my opinion

I wasn't disputing anything you had said, I was just saying that the band chose In Between as one of the songs to make the final cut. I guess I might be a little bias towards it, though, since it is one of my favorite songs at the moment.

No Roads left EASILY! I fall into a crazy trance like state in my mind when I hear the strings play with Mike's voice in the bridge. Its absolutely mesmorizing, but I will say that I have a similar feel when Chester starts screaming in the bridge for Across The Line so that is easily second :)

It's tough, actually, 'cause I don't really like any of those songs, but I guess ... "No Roads Left"

I would literally trade No Roads Left for In Between any day.

Favorites other than No Roads Left - Across the line, Blackbirds and Baby. - meant for Hybrid
