Friggin awesome. Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson steal the show, DiCaprio and Foxx are good too, but the first two...damn, Tarantino has a Hand for picking his Actors

I want to watch Lawless again....Tom Hardy is a fucking boss.

 

Hardy in Warrior = beastmode.

 

Maybe I'll have to put that on my list.

 

I don't see the hype about the film Warrior. It was kinda corny. Hardy was alright but the movie itself wasn't ALL THAT.

 

Zero Dark Thirty - 5/5. Intense as shit.

 

They key factor of whether or not this film hits home with someone is applicable to your own life experience. If you've ever been through some 'shit' you'd probably enjoy the film or connect with it a lot more.

 

The Onion Movie: 5/10

Really funny in some parts, but a lot of it was a total bore. I was expecting it to be more extreme as well, seeing as it's supposedly the "Raw and Uncut" version.

Dredd - 8.5/10

This movie surprised me quite a bit. Karl Urban played the roll of Judge Dredd extremely well and the movie had a great supporting cast. If I were to make a few criticisms about it though, the blood looked extremely fake, and you could tell that it was CG. On top of that, the plot felt a bit too much like The Raid Redemption, with law enforcement going on a drug bust with them being trapped in a tall building, with them (the protagonists) having to make their way to the top floor.

What I did enjoy thoroughly about the movie were the slow-mo effects throughout that gave the movie an ambient film to it in some parts. Throughout the movie it felt like a homage to 80's futuristic action movies, but with a modernized feel to it so it remained fresh throughout the movie. It is definitely a movie I plan on watching again, and again, and again.

 

The Return Of The Joker - 7/10. Pretty good. I remember watching this when I was younger.

Paranormal Activity 4 - 3/10. The worst movie I've willingly watched probably in my life. I knew it was going to be bad, but this series keeps me coming back.

Silver Linings Playbook - 8/10. Bradley Cooper actually acts and Jennifer Lawrence kills it. Fuck she's hot.

 

The Impossible, it was really really good, and pretty sad. It made you think, I liked it. 8.5/10.

if you like anime, you should watch this, it's the action live from it's manga and anime (y)

 

I've had that on my computer for about 2 weeks now and haven't watched it yet. Looks good.
