Over a year in the making, I bring to you a collection of photos I have taken that have been inspired by Linkin Park songs. None of these pictures have seen photoshop. The only alterting they have seen is the filters in my camera. Some of the meanings behind the song and picture are fairly obvious, but others have a less obvious yet more artistic approach. They might just have a feeling about them that clicked with the imagary in my head, or it fit with what the song was trying to say. Needless, I hope you enjoy my visual take on this. Nice job! I guess your imagery for Numb, LOATR and When They Come For Me represent pretty well the vibe I get when I listen to those songs. Though, the ITE picture makes me think of Faint instead, and the LITE picture makes me think of Papercut But I like the idea anyway. I myself often associate tracks vibes with some colors or imagery. I think HT is the record about which we have the most different imagery, since whenever I listen to it, I think of some rainy roads, abandoned factories, and some street art. Yes, that might be because of all of those promotional HT pictures where LP were standing in rainy roads and so on...but I think that theme fits HT music perfectly anyway
That goose was in a field all by itself. That's awesome! Thank you! Trying to pick a name for the images was difficult at times. It left me with a few dilemmas. The ITE and LITE pics can go a few routes. When I first took the LITE picture, I immediately thought of Forgotten for some reason. I thought forgotten was pretty well off with what I chose here and as far as Papercut goes, I was stuck on "I feel the light betray me, the sun goes down." The trees in their bare state look wicked like they are keeping the sun away, so that's why Papercut got the photo it did. I chose LITE for that picture because it felt like the image was fading away. "This time I've finally let you go." For the ITE picture, it reminded me of the visuals in the beginning part of the music video, Much like the blinding light seeping through the leaves reminded me of the spotlights in the Faint video. I thought I would share some insight with you.
That's really interesting because I was staring at and focusing on the grass rather than the animal! It's also cool how some of the images remind me of lyrics and others clearly remind me of sounds

In Pieces, New Divide and Waiting for the end had the biggest wow factors in terms of colour and lighting. Great work Hybrid. Exceptional pieces there.
Yep, I see where you're coming from. The LITE pictures made me think of Papercut because it looks kinda scary, which fact I could connect to all that Paranoia thing in Papercut. And also, it makes me think of that little blue men/zombie in the Papercut video. The ITE picture made me think of Faint mainly because of its color. But it matches ITE too!

Both of them occurred naturally. No filters were used at all. Hahaha! Thank you, Decay! All of the ones that you named were close up shots of certain objects! Thank you, Zak! That New Divide picture really surprised me how it came out. If I told you what it was, you might have a hard time believing it. Thank you Dusty! I had that "problem" quite a bit with having one song transcending more than one photo. There was at a time where Blackout had about 6 or 7 photos associated to it. Blackout almost didn't even make an appearance until I came across the one that I put up here. As funny as that photo is, it is actually dangerous and almost a death sentence for a Canadian Goose to be by itself. They are a flock animal and they depend on the rest of their flock to survive. If you ever hear one of them flying by itself, it is honking desperately to find the rest of it's flock. They keep together like family to migrate. They are also a very habitual animal who fly the same path south for the winter that also make the same stops. Using their "V" formation, they cycle who leads and who follows. The leader, when tired, moves to the rear of the formation to rest a little. When a Goose is by itself, it wastes a lot of energy while flying trying to desperately make it's way back to the flock. This usually results in exhaustion which leaves them vulnerable to predators. Thank you, Snail. Thank you, Ree! I did have a play on words with the word "leave" and the tree not having any. Thank you, NoN! The What I've Done photo is from the Mobile refinery about 20 mins from my house and the clouds in Fallout was actually the remains or the "fallout" of Hurricane Sandy.
