G.I. Joe 2 - It has smart action, likeable characters and ok acting. The plot would have been great it it weren't filled with cliches and a very bleak plan of Cobra Commander. Still, it has that grounded and semi-realistic feel that G.I. Joe 1 didn't have. If you are a G.I. Joe fan, MAYBE this movie is for you. What also I didn't like though is the lack of Bruce Willis and the Transformers-like deafening and dizzying action. And Channing Tatum dying. But still, I had fun. 6/10

I'm not big on films which are full of vulgar jokes, but this wasn't bad at all.

"Evolver" - this was a cheesy 90s B-movie or something. A lot of the characterisation and acting was surprisingly good. :)
"Cosmopolis" - this is Cronenberg's latest film, an adaptation of a novel, but it doesn't feel like a Cronenberg film at all, for better or worse. Everyone and their mother complained about the dialogue and the pacing of this film but I had little problem with either. For me, there are only a couple of scenes where the film moves too slowly

Ahh, I'm looking forward to seeing "Side Effects" :phone: - I loved "Contagion" more than words could express

06.4 | The Road, 4/5 - Man, the premise of this film is absolutely terrifying that I could barely enjoy the story being told. The Road is a fantastic film, and you know that when you couldn't care less about knowing the name of the characters you're so 'attached' to.

    Evil Dead (2013)

This is the goriest movie to come out of a major studio in a long time. Maybe ever. It's unrelenting. I loved the atmosphere and practical effects--the CGI was kept to a minimum, thankfully. I've read a lot from people lamenting the lack of humor (to be fair, the film isn't completely devoid of comedy), but I wonder how many of those people have actual seen the original film? The Evil Dead franchise didn't intentionally delve into slapstick comedy until the sequels. My biggest gripe, though, is with the utter stupidity of the characters. It's a cliched and lazy way to put them into desperate scenarios. Fortunately it didn't completely sour me on the movie.

Love the movie and The Book.

The book is one of the most depressing things I've ever read, still great though.

    Zero Dark Thirty: 9/10

I was surprised that I liked this film, especially since I didn't like "The Hurt Locker" all that much.
