A Haunted House - 2/10. Funnier than I expected, but still so stupid.

13.4 | Source Code, 4/5 - That was absolutely terrific. Starting off as a science fiction thriller and ending with a hint of romance and a hint of fucking awesome. Yeah, we're going through the same scenario multiple times, but each time was just as interesting than the last. Plus Michelle Monaghan was cute.

The Place Beyond the Pines - 5/5

If you liked Blue Valentine or Drive, you'll love this one. Few, if any, films will be better this year. I avoided all trailers and reviews so I didn't know anything going in. I recommend everyone else do the same.

Only 8 out of 10? That one's a classic in my eyes.

Yeah, it really caught me by surprise. The rating is actually supposed to be 4/5, actually.

Oblivion - 5/10 - So-so, unoriginal plot, but acting and visual effects were pretty good

I need some suggestions. What other films are out there that are similar to flicks such as '50/50', 'Perks of Being a Wallflower'. 'Celeste & Jesse Forever'; slice-of-life type of films?

Stranger Than Fiction, (500) Days of Summer, Safety Not Guaranteed, and Everything Must Go come to mind.

Thank you kindly for the suggestions Xero21! I've seen 500 Days of Summer, but I will definitely give the other three a go.

I opted for Good Will Hunting tonight. Fantastic film. Both touching and inspiring; a wake up call for those who are lost in their way of life.

    Good Will Hunting - 9/10

    21.4 | The Perks of Being a Wallflower, 3/5
22.4 | Friends with Benefits, 3/5 - Two words, Mila Kunis.

Iron Man 3 - 9/10 - Wow. It's amazing. It's like Dark Knight Rises, with less Iron Man and more Tony, but with more action, comedy and RDJ. So many unexpected plot twists. The post credits scene TOTALLY gives clues about the next Marvel film.
